    Hallo

    Which games I could play on my laptop:

    Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family
    Pentium Dual Core T4200 2 GHz
    4GB DDR 2 ram
    Windows 7 64Bit

    Is it possible to run some modern games? I know that chipset from Intel is not so good, but is it possible to play Jagged Alliance 2, Commandos 2 or 3? FIFA 10? or FIFA 09? something else? such games like Call of Duty ?

    What do you guys think of the pro star W765cuh. Im going to buy a laptop or pc but my budget is around 1000$. It seems like a good deal. Could it run say, Supreme commander 2 and Starcraft 2? My other options are building a pc, but im inexperienced, and i don't know what would be better. What should i do? I could go a little over 1000 if its really worth it but no more than like 100 more or something. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    That laptop isn't really that great for gaming. I recommend building your own pc even though u rn't that experienced. If you have a spare computer, just watch a "how to" video on youtube while building the computer and follow the steps. With $1000 you can build an amazinig gaming computer.

    Low to medium settings because of your CPU

    MW2= Maxed settings
    BC2= Medium to High settings

    It will run but its gonna be very laggy even on all low settings its not worth trying

    I've just purchased a HP Pavilion dv6 2119tx and whilst I'm pretty sure it could handle the Sims 3 I just want to double check (esp the graphics card) and also find out how well it should be able to run it (i.e. whether it could be played on max settings).

    Computer specs

    OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
    Processor: Intel Core i7-720qm (1.60 GHz, 6 MB L2 Cache, 1333 MHz FSB, Quad Core)
    Memory: 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) DDR3
    Hard Drive: 640 GB 5400 rpm
    Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GT 230M (1 GB dedicated memory)

    The Sims 3 system requirements

    FOR WINDOWS VISTA (they don't list requirements for Windows 7 although it does work on 7)

    * 2.4 GHz P4 processor or equivalent
    * 1.5 GB RAM
    * 128 MB Video Card with support for Pixel Shader 2.0
    * Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1
    * At least 6.1 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB of additional space for custom content and saved games

    Supported Video Cards (they don't list any laptop graphics cards hence why I'm not sure about the graphics card)
    NVIDIA GeForce series

    FX 5900, FX 5950
    6200, 6500, 6600, 6800
    7200, 7300, 7600, 7800, 7900, 7950
    8400, 8500, 8600, 8800
    9300, 9400, 9500, 9600, 9800
    G100, GT 120, GT 130, GTS 150
    GTS 250, GTX 260, GTX 280, GTX 285, GTX 295

    Thanks!

    It'll work since your current card is based on one of the older nvidia models listed on the last 2 lines (not sure which one). The Sims 3 is not that demanding a game from reviews so you should be running it fairly close to high detail.

    Depends if you have a blu-ray drive in it or not. This question doesn't belong in this thread though, I recommend starting a new thread in the Asus forum: http://forum.notebookreview.com/forumdisplay.php?f=19

    Should be able to play any game out there now on medium-high and any upcoming game on at least low-medium.

    Close race between #1 and #3 with #3 slightly ahead.

    I tried running borderlands on a single 6600gt (old, i know :D ), which gets about the same 3dmark06 score as the ATI 4200.

    It should run (barely), with everything off or on low, and at low resolutions (800x600)

    I would not get my hopes up. The minimum system requirements are a 3GHz dual core processor and a graphics card much, much better than yours. The best you can expect is lowest details and lowest resolution.

    You probably will have to put some settings on low so you will run it low~med. If i were you, i would just play the game on your desktop that you got there in you sig. That rig should have no problems with it on max settings. :D

    Thanks but I can't access the Internet because I screwed something up on my laptop. Its defiantly getting hot. Out of 2 of the vents there is really hot air while playing. I just shut down age of empires 3 and its cooling down?

    Can anyone give me settings to run the game on please?

    Umm that game should be no problem for that rig on its HIGHEST settings. I don't know whats the problem there. One of the settings might be the problem in that case, try turning settings down one by one until you find out which one's causing the problem. Is it just this game??

    Just download the ZIP or installer on to a flash drive, and then run the installer or application on the laptop itself.
