Yeah I didn't think it should overheat. I tried turning everything down and it's still the same. Yeah it's only this game. I play civ 4 on it and it's fine. I cleaned the fan but it is still just as bad
Yeah I'm going to have to use a friends computer for that. I know it's overheating but I want to see the numbers so I can tell acer when I call

-
ok i find this its very useful for bfbc2 players
-
too bad i can't understand some of the words in that
other than that, thats great lol
-
me too
but the only thing that i want to understand is the graphic settings
so Details mittel means Details medium
and HBOA aus means HBOA off
it looks that asus n82jv perfoms very good at this game
**look the fps at dell studio 1558 totally crap..
-
What the hell. The 4570 shouldn't be that low.
Well, at least I know not to get BF:BC2 until I get a better laptop, if I'm going to get 9 FPS. -
yeap but..you get these fps at medium settings..if you drop the settings to low maybe its playable..maybe
but i think the optimum settings to enjoy that game is medium and up..
for that reason i try to found a lappy to perform well
and maybe i wait asus n82jv or buy now m11x alien -

Borderlands all low possible to run? -
I once tried borderlands on my x1400 just out of curiosity, with all settings turned down to absolute minimum at 800x600, it still couldn't produce playable framerates. Although your GO 7600 is about 2 times more powerful than x1400, but it is an aged card and is a low end card by today's standard.
I guess your GO 7600 will be able to pull off enough FPS at the lowest settings, but as a word of advice, avoid it as the game looks complete crap with everything turned down and your experience won't be enjoyable. -
Mirrors Edge laptop in sig

You know, I think that benchmark is skewed. the 4570 really should be that low, and according to that, a GT 325M performs better than a GT 330M...also, I'm pretty sure the 5650 is a tad better than the 4670. Don't quote me on the last one though.
-
for the 4570 you may be right..the result is too low for the specs of this card..
also i believe 5650 is a little be stronger than 4670..but in this case..i think i7 give the advance for these frames..
finally gt 325m and gt 330m are at the same level..
i never believe these benchs...100%
users or owners reviews for me its a better way -

I have never played Crysis, ever. So does the notebook in my sig (the new one
) have any chance of running it?
-
It sure does. Medium settings, and keep off the AA. At your native resolution as well.
You could have a look at some configs for improved visuals and better framerates, like Eazy E's Crysis config, Master Config, and the CCC config. -
Hi,
I have a Dell Vostro 1520 with 4GB of Ram and a GeForce 9300M GS. Can I play Diablo II (2) with it?
What are todays most popular games that can be played with that card? -
Diablo 2 was such an old game, even my 8 years old P-III laptop can play it with max settings. Yours will have no problem with it at all.
Keep in mind 9300M GS is a low-end graphic card, games from 09-10 wouldn't run well on it with decent settings and resolution(1280x720 or higher). Older games should be able to run fine with 9300M GS though. -
How well could my setup run Microsoft Flight Simulator X? Any ideas? Thanks.
Specs in signature. -
Thank you Lidowxx! Much appreciated.
-
Looking to run Boderlands and Dragon Age Origins....specs below. TIA
AMD Turion X2 TL-52 (1.6)
Vista 32
2GB RAM
Radeon X1200 128MB -
Unfortunately, the x1200 is too old and isn't powerful enough to run either of two games.
-
I'd appreciate if someone answered me soon. I haven't purchased my laptop yet and I want to know if either one of the laptops I posted on the previous page can run the game. The deal on one of them ends tomorrow and I don't want to miss out. Thanks.

Thanks, now to convince myself into buying it and that I actually have time to play it as well
I've not played the game but I do have a notebook with that particular GPU so with that in mind and it's system requirements ( http://store.steampowered.com/app/40100/) I'm going to hazard an estimate that you'll able to play the game fine. A pinch of salt would be advised. I can play Modern Warfare 2 on high settings just fine if that's any help
EDIT: since the system requirements are pretty vague (i.e. no specific mention of which graphic cards line), it usually implies to me that the graphical demands aren't very high. -
Thanks! Knew I was on the bubble with the processor...hadn't fully considered the graphics card.
-
Thanks. Anyways..It's futureshop(bestbuy) so if it doesn't run it I can just returned it for a refund.
-
can i run the witcher specs in my sig
-
No way. You need at least one of the older dedicated cards to run the game, it's quite demanding.
-
I'm looking at a Dell Latitude E6410 for work, but also some light gaming on the side.
Here's the relevant specs:
Intel® Core i5-520M (2.4GHz, 3M cache)
4GB DDR3-1333
WXGA+ (1440x900)
and either
Intel HD Graphics
or
512MB NVIDIA NVS 3100M
Now, I'm mostly a console gamer and I've got a desktop that I can upgrade should I need to, but I'd like to know whether this setup (with either graphics) could play stuff like Starcraft II, Modern Warfare (probably a stretch), and some older games like HL2 and Battlefield 2.
Will any of these games (notably Starcraft II) see a noticeable (playable vs non-playable rather than AA or other effects) difference between integrated and discrete? I know Intel has made some progress on their chips, and I can play Warcraft III on an older Intel, so if the new Intel HD graphics can run SCII at native resolution with a decent framerate, I'll take the battery-saving Intel over the nVidia. Or is it hopeless whichever graphics I choose? -
NVS 3100M will be good enough to play on native res as it is about 2-3X as powerful as inte HD.. but if u really want to play on better details , i would look for another laptop... if ur looking on the 14 inch side, Sony Vaio CW will be a cheaper and way better option.. It will have corei5 , i7 , and NVDIA Ge force GT330M which would easily play on native res with fairly high details as it has 3X shaders as NVS3100M...

This is the laptop I have on backorder:
64 bit Windows 7
Core i5-520m 2.4 GHz
ATI Radeon Mobility 5730 (Technically it will be an overclocked 5650)
4 GB DDR3 RAM
I was wondering how well it will run ARMA 2. I know there is a demo, but the patches increase performance a lot. For example, my old laptop wasn't able to even install the demo but was able to play the first ARMA game:
32 bit Windows Vista
Turion 64 X2 TL-58 1.9 GHz
GeForce Go 6150
2 GB DDR2 RAM
If I can get comparable results with the new laptop as I did with the old one I will be more than pleased. -
Ok your new laptop is 100 times better than your old one. ARMA should run but i don't know what settings. Maybe medium?
-
My settings are in the sig. but I've OCed it to a 3dMark06 score of 5019. Just as an indication, what's newest game that I can run at full settings?
-
what settings can i run Crysis?
CPU: i7 920XM 2.0GHz @ 3.3GHz
GPU: ATi HD 4870X2
RAM: 4Gb @ 1333MHz
Resolution: 1920X1200 -
It all depends on which resolution you want to play. But for sure you'll have some power given its a dual high-end GPU.
-
At 1920X1200
-
Sarcasm
Ultra low
-
LOL, I know it runs on very high but how much AA? I have the disc that was released back in 2007, and it's a bit laggy with everything maxed out.
-
if you brought that machine without knowing what it can do you are a fool
People posting with machines like that are basically just showing off
Go troll the AW board
This thread is there to help people who have genuine concerns -
I know what this machine can do
I wasn't trying to show off in the first place, just trying to see how much AA to use, got it
-
CPU: t7500 c2d 2.2ghz
GPU: nvidea 8600m GT 128mb OC to 550 mhz core
RAM: 3gb DDR2 887 i think
Display: 1440 x 900
I just realized it can actually play MW2 at 30+ frames per second, and averages about 45 in native rez. (TY free weekend)
Can it handle BC2 in native, even at low settings? -
Ordered it and wondering can it run Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Modern Warfare 2, and a few more current games?
-
Uh, yes. =p
-
it can run it but not on max details at full HD res... if u really want something in 15inch which can easily play all this on full HD res and high details. , look at Sager NP8690... if u don't mind playing on lower details , then get the envy...
-
Its already ordered. Thanks for your help.
-
I doubt it on native resoultion
Around low to medium settings -

How would I be with modern warfare and modern warfare 2
-
Hello, I´m new here, and I´m looking foward a Notebook for playing and working, but I´m between 3 with this graphic cards:
Nvidia GT 325 GS 1GB
ATI MobilityRadeon HD5650 1GB
Nvidia 300 GS 512mB
How better between them?
With which one will I be able to play Mafia 2?
Thanks =) -
I'd go with the ATI 5650, but look for a 5670 or overclock your 5650 to the 5670 settings.
-
I think you meant 5730 as there's no mobile 5670.
Anyway I agree HD5650 is the fastest of these not to mention DX11 and great OC possibilities. -
So the Ati card will run all of those games? mafia 2, BF2142, Gta iv etc..?
-
I was wondering if I could play BF2142, Cod4 Modern Warfare 2, Mafia II and GTA IV with this notebook`s characteristics:
CPU: Intel® Core(TM) i5
GPU: ATI MobilityRadeon HD5650 1GB
RAM: 4 GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM
Display: Don`t really know what you mean by this?
