I actually liked it better than the W3 overall. The latter had better quest lines but a lot of the content was just Easter egg hunts. The former worse quest lines but more actual stuff to do even if it was the go there, kill everyone, leave, kind of stuff. I've a feeling most wouldn't agree with me but that's my take.
@hfm I multi-quoted but yours didn't make it in. I meant to say he had many good points but I was punching it out on my phone and lost some of my thoughts in there.
I get the impression they don't have a proper PR department. Or that it's being driven by management rather than professionalism. In other words PR would be telling them to stay out of the media until they had an unqualified win but management may be overriding the usual playbook.
In any event he states repeatedly that he hated to pile on while he continued to pile on, hated to quote redditers while quoting redditers, etc. It struck me as hypocritical and disingenuous; I think the delivery is what I disagree with rather than the message.

I think he was trying to talk to CDPR directly through a public channel. As he stated it was al little outside of what I usually see from him. At least he was up front about it if people wanted to just stop watching.krabman likes this.

I couldn't quite get myself to commit to lighting up any one game and eventually found myself over on the Nexus looking at Cyberpunk mods; some good stuff out there. Found one that lets you bring your choomba's with you. Color me happy.

Check out Cyberpunk 2077 after 50 applied mods, ray tracing, DLSS 2.2, and highest graphics presets
By Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 09/08/2021 12:51 PM
In a recent video, YouTuber Digital Dreams demonstrates how Cyberpunk 2077 comes to life. He did so using and applying over 50 mods, raytracing, DLS 2.2, and fully optimized graphical settings. A Ryzen 9 3900X processor, as well as an RTX 3090 graphics card, are required in order for him to complete this task successfully.

jesus a 50gb patch??
this is now looking like a great game not that it ever wasn't...
I was turned off by the bugs people were complaining about but now on friday im pulling the trigger..one question though
should I buy this for xbox series s or for a 1650 laptop (PC) -
I started also last week to finally play the game. Its ok, there are still some bugs like people walking through cars or walls.
I say go for xbox , you will get frustrated on the 1650, you will need to turn down a lot of graphics, wich sucks cus the game really looks good.

You still planning on upgrading the laptop?

Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.31 Improves Wet Surfaces System, GPU Memory Optimization on PlayStation Consoles and More wccftech.com | Sept 14,2021 -
Tough call there in regards to Cyberpunk; PCs give you easy access to mods and the best possible visuals. You also get the most populated world and that matters with Cyberpunk; it increases the sense of place.
I really don't know much about gforce now; I get out in the sticks and often have no connection so it's not for me. Depending on how that delivers it might be a better option?
Previously you had talked about buying a stouter PC and I would be strongly inclined to go that way so as to make it through this console gen. If you've decided to budget less that throws that out the window. -
i just wish they were cheaper....i can get a car for 2000

A USED GTX 1070 laptop for $1,000 USD... my man that is not a "great deal" in the year 2021.JRE84 likes this.

I'm a Geforce Now founder. It worked great for me on my Lenovo C940 14" 2 in 1. I probably have over 200 hours playing Cyberpunk there. The last couple of months I played though it got where it would lag more often, maybe because more people were joining. It was great for the most part, especially at $5 a month.

yeah i was playing ghost R breakpoint and forgot i was streaming.....the platform that wins the streaming race im investing all my money into it....also tysvm atma

You cant get a car that runs and isn't an immiment threat to die any second for 2k around here, but, I take your point. Sounds like gforce now might be a fit for you; should have a good time however you slice it.

Cyberpunk 2077 first free DLC and updates delayed to 2022

I don't understand what more "next-gen" they want to do with Cyberpunk. I mean, graphics-wise it's already up there. What more do they want to do to it?
Maybe their efforts would be better placed in developing more content, more quests, throughout the game. There are so many cool places where... nothing happens.seanwee, Spartan@HIDevolution, killkenny1 and 1 other person like this. -
I thought next gen referred to the consoles?

killkenny1 Too weird to live, too rare to die.
I also think it's for the next gen consoles.
On PC it already looks good, but of course I won't way no to the upgrade. However, I too prefer more content and features over graphical upgrade.Spartan@HIDevolution likes this. -
I looked after posting: It refers to the PS5 and Xbox x/s; this will take them off the legacy console engine. I've forgotten exactly what that meant. They also announced they were "deep into" the new content which was expected somewhat after March 22.

CD Projekt settles class-action suit for Cyberpunk 2077's launch at US$1.85 million, despite raking in over US$500 million from the game notebookcheck.net
CD Projekt recently announced that it was settling a class-action lawsuit over Cyberpunk 2077's disastrous launch out of court. However, the paltry US$1.85 million settlement raises questions considering how the game has earned CD Projekt over US$500 million since 2020.
Despite apparently shipping Cyberpunk 2077 in an unfinished state, CD Projekt Red's RPG went on to generate over US$500 million in sales. If the class action settlement is approved in court, CD Projekt will have to pay out less than 1 percent of that amount to disgruntled investors.

Cyberpunk 2077 New Mods Improve LOD and Reduce Texture Pop-In
New Cyberpunk 2077 mods that have been released online in the past few days bring some welcome improvements for the level of detail of distant objects and reduce texture pop-in.
The LOD Improvements mod includes a selection of different LOD settings that improve details for distant objects and reduce texture pop-in. Some of the settings can be a little extreme, such as the 10x draw distance increase, so the impact on performance will be noticeable on certain systems. The mod can be downloaded from Nexus Mods.

New rumors...
Cyberpunk dlc:
It has been claimed that there will be a new Cyberpunk 2077 DLC along with a Cyberpunk mini-anime game. The Cyberpunk 2077 DLC will be known as Cyberpunk 2077: Samurai Edition and will have the following elements in it:
- 4 new weapons
- New game plus
- Apartment customization
- New gigs
- 2 new gangs
- Several small stuff like Judy and Panam sending more text messages.
Read More: Kings of Fighters XV - release date, features, gameplay, editions more
The area containing these quests is known as the "combat zone" which seems to be inspired by the game s.t.a.l.k.e.r and us being fought over by two new gangs: the Bozos and Slaughterhouse.
The Bozos are claimed to be violent clown psychopaths in nature with a sick sense of humor and the members in Slaughterhouse are defined as violent psychopath fascists.
If the leak is true then players can look forward to the announcement of the Cyberpunk 2077 release date soon as it has been in rumors for quite a while now. -
Nice! I am so looking forward to getting back into it after all the changes. I just hope they add in some sort of "end game" content. I hate it when I really like playing a game but I literally did everything and you basically run around a world devoid of any quests or things to do that gain you something.
