Diablo 3 Gameplay/Performance Impressions (NO SPOILERS ALLOWED)

My previous Andariel's had 237 Dex. I sold it for 10 M gold, minus the 15% charge. But I think I bought it for more than that.

I think it's beginning to make sense now, a bit, ..the higher the MP, the higher the capped Magic Find.

I tried MP10 Act.3 Inferno solo, the capped MF is at 550% + 75% NV. It takes for ever to kill, their damge is somewhat high, but higher, definately needs more resist to elements even at MP5 Inferno.

In anyways, I'm not rushing this game. 450% MF is not bad for me, and besides this game has what I'm looking for.

Just to add; So basically today, in a total of 1.5 hrs. of playing in Public Games (4x Heart of Sin runs) I found 2 legendaries.




Edit: On the 6th run, found my third (3 hrs. total).

 

I just thought of making this funny screenshot.. Still enjoying the game very much so. I also don't farm, really. I still average 2 legend drops in 3 hrs. in Public games. I play around 6-10 hrs. a week of D3.

My DH character is now at 106 K DPS unbuffed (permanent). No Sharp Shooter, no archery and no Steady Aim skill and I like it so much. It's at lvl 60, Paragon 42 (I am in no rush at Paragon level). It also has 300% MF (capped) at the start and 375% MF after 5 NV in Public Games.

 

^^^ that is insane. i have found 2 legendarys.
Total amount played 200hrs. they were garbage to. i kinda gave up which is a shame as i did actually enjoy the game

 

smokingjam, they buffed the drops last patch. I usually get 2 legendaries on 5 runs without any MF gear.

 

That's right the patch improved things. Just now after a patch, in 4 incomplete runs, about an hr. and 40 mins. I got these..

Maybe I will start playing again. I kinda quit playing after about 1/2 way through Inferno Act 1 @ paragon level 2.

Got tired of playing 2-3 hours at a time and never finding a single thing worth crap. Finally I said screw it and gave up. I want to be able to find my own upgrades sometimes instead of 100% of the time relying on the auction house. Sure maybe every 10-50 hours I would find 1 or 2 decent things but they were never for my char so I always ended up selling it on ah for gold and then buying my next upgrade.

 

Just a tip for the new guys.

Softcore D3 is pretty much dead.

You are more likely to find a real person playing D2 than softcore D3.

 

My Demon Hunter can solo MP3 inferno now with capped MF (450%). Though I'm not rushing my Paragon Level, I could see my dual wielding Demon Hunter doing MP5 solo in 2 months or so.

When I play at Public games we always communicate reguarding MF, so we know we're not going to waste our time (20 mins) and not finding any legend drops.

I like how competitive we get at Public games trying to kill everything in sight, killing elites fast, ..and this is where even higher Paragon level barbarian, witch doctor, wizards (paragon 40 and above) still dies at these encounters.

All demon hunter players has some sort of healthy competition which I enjoy. Single wielding vs dual, ..and doing MP3-6 solo.
