I wonder how many expansions they will add to this game. I'm hoping for at least 2 with 2 classes each and an eventual but less grindy level cap of 100. I don't think it has the same customization that d2 had just yet with the rare drops. I need a runeword like system and a similar loot system like in d2! Also 9 classes would be win.

I hope they make all loot RNG - if i have to do another mephesto run again I think I'll kill myself
-
Yes, make top-level loot rain from the skies at level 1...
We both know bosses will have a better chance of better loot.
It only makes sense.
At least the *insert boss here* run will be different. -
Any idea how hard PvE is in this? I mean if there is no PvP right now at least make this game really really friggin hard and party dependent. Not like herp derp hammerdins in d2 who just obliterated everything with the cheapest possible items you can get. The only bad thing will be the scramble for loot again like in d2 when in a party. Feels so crappy when you missed that godlike drop.
-
I would rather not have to rely on random people to play through the game normally though. -
In response to how hard PvM will be: Diablo III -- You Will Die. We Promise. - YouTube -
This will allow for much less monotonous "insert boss name" runs that we did in d2.
Sounds great right?! But then the idea of act bosses becoming pointless after beating them for the first time ... so Blizzard came up with this simple yet elegant idea, which also somewhat solves the issue of lack of customization permanence:

So yeah, slightly different... -
Champion pack = the gold monsters in d2? iirc, there being randomly generated strong monsters who had spells and stuff and their names showed up in gold.
Also what is this party loot you guys mentioned. Sounds good, haven't done any digging in to d3 until recently now that its only a bit over a month away! -
Well 1.5 months....
-
still I am so scared if it will be a major letdown
-
Given the wait and the hype and D2's evolution, its almost sure to be a letdown in some ways.
