Probably not on nostalgia alone. It does have some but it really delivered everywhere else too.

hmmm...the vulkan api made the game feel more stuttery for me even though it said 75fps in the stats.

From what I've read and the few reviews around, including my own testing, generally speaking, OpenGL is the preferred option for Maxwell users. As of right now, it would appear that Vulkan has only been substantially beneficial for AMD users in terms of higher performance, with mild benefits for Pascal users.TBoneSan and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -

What I gathered so far is that frame rates fluctuate on Vulcan more compared to OpenGL.
