    Yes 180.84 is whql.

Try dox's beta if you have a 32 bit OS

meaning: once dox does his driver version. it will still pass the os whql

and i already have the nvidia 180.84 on my laptop and my desktop.

    no it doesnt pass WHQL.
WHat I meant was, my next release will be based on Nvidia's WHQL.
    Hope that makes sense.

Once you start messing with the files it breaks the certificate.

Hi Dox, i've tried to overclock my 8600m gt with your 180.70 drivers, but everytime i adjust the clocks, they revert back to the default values once i apply them. Any help would be appreciated

Doesn't happen to me. What do you use to overclock? Are you overclocking in increments? Also, is this DDR2 or GDDR3?

Used both RivaTuner and ATItools to try and overclock. Yep overclocked in increments then stressed with ATI tools's artifact test. Its a 256 GDDR3 card.

Dl'ed and installed. When i tried to run it, dint even startup. Heard tt ntune isnt the most stable software when it comes to OC'ing. I dont think its a software issue? Not sure though, like before, any help would be great

Just tried it, like all the other OC tools, can adjust clock speeds, but when i apply that profile, under system information in the nvidia performance control panel menu, my clock speeds are still default. When i click test, it says GPU clock test failed

U have to hit apply, I think save it with a button in the create profile section and save it from the menu on top of the window. Then load the profile you just saved using the menu on top of the window. sorry at work don't have my lappy in front of me...

Did that, basically when i load a profile, the option factory shipped frequencies is automatically selected and my OC'ed clocks are reset to default

So far the 180.70 driver does not like waking up from sleep. Oblivion looks awesome though. :D

Any chance that the 180.84 driver will address this issue in more detail?

Even though it automatically switches to have "factory clocks" selected have you tried loading the profile then ticking "custom clocks" below "factory clocks"?

I know you said nevermind but i figured i'd throw one more thing out there :)

Xanthuez, how did you get nibitor to OC your GPU.

i have the program buy i keep getting this error.

I think it is a vista 64 error.

I really want to bios OC, so that i can overclock further than 635 935 1550, and keep it stable.

ok following those steps as we speak. WISH ME LUCK.

    DO you guys think 950 650 1600 is do-able on a 8800m gts.

it is unstable on driver level OC, but i heard that you can use higher level OC when you do it with the bios and it will stay stable.

    i can actually do 950 650 1600 on Crysis 1 and on Warhead 935 635 1550,

Warhead doesnt like to be OC to my Crysis 1 settings. Once i get my X7800 i wont be OC anymore because my card would be fast enough, maybe even faster than with these OC settings. And if i still use these OC settings after my upgrade the i will be flying through games.

ERIK what are you OC settings.

And install 180.84 from LV2Go. I know me and you were one of the first to fall in love with 180.70 DOX but this driver is just as good and OCs further. Now i can use my 650 950 1600 settings at max 62C.
