Tower Squire? The Mobile Moxie would be my weapon choice. (Reward for Insane No-Towers Challenge) Its both very strong DPS and gives about +25 Tower Health.
For armor just get a good set of armor with mostly tower stats and upgrade it to give more tower hp and tower attack.
For a pet, a good pet with lots of upgrades to boost tower stats, a genie if you like to stay on your squire during combat to give mana, or I really like guardians for tower builds.

Which suffixes are best for those particular stats? I'd like to work on getting a set bonus. I think the Godly Enchanted Pristine are the best combination? Might be way off base here.
Also, I can't believe how ridiculously easy some of the challenges and insane levels are for certain classes. Insane Lab is crazy easy and takes about 5 or 6 minutes. Same with Ogre Crush. I realize many of them are pretty class specific as far as ease is concerned, but those tend to offer the best rewards for those particular classes.
Thanks for your advice though, Vicious. Looking forward to new guides, when you can take a break from Skyrim, MW3 and BF3, that is -

I don't own MW3 or Skyrim. I only have BF3 because I won a free copy.
Need to fire it up and get some game time in. I really need to get some SC2 time in as well.
If somebody has the hook-up for Skyrim I would love to get into that one, can make some LP footage or something.
Still on the fence about Diablo 3. I really wanted it, then I really lost interest, now I kind of want it again.
I wont get it @ release but will keep an eye on it to see how it develops.
For the Dungeon Defenders videos since I have made so many of them now I went ahead and created a playlist to help keep track of them:

If your tower apprentice spec, would you recommend, when upgrading armor, to just upgrade tower dmg and tower casting rate exclusively. Or are there other important stats?

I may be mistaken but I thought I recall a reviewer saying that one of the downsides of the game was understanding what all the little tiles stand for in the heat of combat and that he had to read up on it in the manual. I tried searching my pc for (dungeon defender) user guide, manual, and a few other key words but I didn't turn it up. Also browsed around the steam folder but didn't find any manuals. I know they exist though for some games because I have gone there before and read them.
