    For those who cant get the console running could you try this

    First off the console can't be opened by pressing a combination of things I think, so say if you access the ~ key by pressing Shift + some key, dont, just press the "some key"

    On UK keyboards sometimes **** gets messed up

    The console is usually accessed by pressing the button on the left side of the number 1, not on the numpad but the number keys on top of the letter keys.

    Sometimes for me, such as in UT3 the console is accessed by pressing the second key on the right side of key L.

    In some other games i cant remember which the console is accesses by one of the three keys on the right side of L and before Enter key.

    Also its worth noting the above is on XP, when I was on Vista, I couldn't get the console to open no matter what key I pressed. Other people had this problem too and so far I haven't been able to find a solution. Note this is not a universal vista problem, most can access the console just fine, a few unlucky ones on vista cant at all.

    Hope this helped

    Im sorry about the r_driver=DX9 command

    I was getting my information from tweak guides author who is working on the crysis tweak guide but its not yet fully published on the site.

    To see his views these are the two threads

    http://forums.tweakguides.com/showthread.php?p=75390#post75390

    advanced tweaks

    http://forums.tweakguides.com/showthread.php?p=75415#post75415

    After re-reading the advanced tweaks, it is my bad about the r_driver=DX9 method

    In fact you are not supposed to enter this in the console, but rather in the System.cfg file

    If you then want to add/customize the commands in a personal config file, the way to do it is to create a file called System.cfg, and place it under your \Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo directory. Now within this file, you can add various commands, for example if you want to keep your Post Processing at High in the game, but just disable motion blur, then enter the following in System.cfg:

    r_MotionBlur=0

    To run in dx9 under vista add

    r_driver=DX9

    source = tweakguides

    For those looking for an easier method just do this

    To run it in DX9 under Vista you just have to right-click to game icon, located in Vistas Game folder (under Music, Pictures etc). Then you get the option to start in DX9 or DX10.

    Soz for the trouble

    I've managed to get 169.01 on there, and I can OC, but I can't OC worth anything.

    I'm trying 600 and 850 in RivaTune on a G2S-A1 (which has been done), and the drivers go splat. Artifacting, driver crashes, game crashes and I'm forced to reset.

    No way should this happen on a GDDR3 8600GT in a 17" lappy, no?

    Did you try uninstalling previous driver first, then use driver cleaner pro from here
    http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=745
    in safe mode?
    And maybe try Have Disk method too. When a hardware wizzard window prompt out just follow the instruction and direct to files where you extracted driver to.

    EDIT: Syntax Error you may want to download inf file from LV2G site again. They hosted x64 inf file before now they've put up inf file for 32bit. It may be the problem you were having.

    Thanks! That seemed to have done the trick. :D

    I'm pretty new to overclocking or doing things like that with my hardware...since you have an NP2090, and I've seen others with NP2090s here that overclocked successfully, how about you guys make a thread in the Sager/Clevo forums to determine what the best overclocks are? :)

    I'm the one clocked at 600/1200/850. Anyway, I have no problem with it; I also undervolted my processor to 1.050V with RMClock. Perhaps you should try that. My games run beautifully at 600/1200/850, especially Oblivion, which I run at *ahem FULL *ahem FULL settings on 1024 x 640. (you can barely notice the jaggies anyway)

    Anyone else experiencing issues with this driver? Everything was okay for me, until I brought my laptop to a friend's house so he could play the demo. It froze it more than a few times and forced a hard boot. Then it would give me start up issues and the like.

    Lucky you!

    I will try RMClock, thanks a lot for the advice!

    Care to say how many 3dmarks you're pulling with that OC?

    I run Oblivion at 1680x1050 with QTP3 and I'm running everything max except for respectable shadows and low grass.

    I haven't cared to 3dMark it, but the thing is, in Oblivion, I'm heavily modded, which includes QTP3, OOO, and OBSE (streamline/deadly reflex) and it's quite a sight to even have it run at all. My grass and shadows are turned all the way up. when I had Oblivion stock I didn't have a problem pulling off 1900x1200 on full. Mods change that of course.

    Blegh, I'm trying to undervolt and I can't get 1.050V. I think I can get 1.137V, but even that's pushing it.

    It's like our G2Ses are completely different.

    Actully thats a pretty high overclock, my card wont do those clocks eather.

    maybe 575/800 max for me. But 500/800 is what I go with for stability as higher than 500 for me causes issues if I overclock my cpu.

    Same card different Asus notebook (c90)

    Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me- I'm using an Alienware m9750, and I tried installing these drivers becuase I tried playing the Crysis SP demo last week and my frame rate was really low. I'm using drivers from laptopvideo2go, but I can't remember which ones exactly. Anyway, when I tried installing the driver posted at the start of the thread, at first I was getting an error saying that it couldn't find drivers compatible with my hardware. Then, when vista said to "reinstall with recommended settings", I tried that, and now it's saying that it doesn't recognise my OS as Vista 32-bit. Anyone know what's going on, and could offer any help/recommend a good driver? Thanks.

    Anyone else noticed the overall gaming performance decrease with all games besides Crysis? I installed 169.04 from LPV2GO.com and so far it has decrease performance for almost all games besides Crysis which gained 5 fps. The decrease is visible even after overclock. Anyone else experience this?
