There is that. I did get to finish a couple of games I had in my library.
Kidding.. ?![]()

i still need to wait till next year... there are alot of games coming out this year.
-
Then you're enjoying it for the wrong reason, i.e. playing a multiplat that's also available on PC on a lesser platform.
-
PC and ps4 are not coming out on the same day

Also as its a port that remains to be seen

Because Rockstar is taking its sweet time making GTA V on PC the definitive version of the game.
-
I already played through it once on 360 at 30fps. No way I'm going that again
This. I hear it's not a port as such and that the PC is in fact the definitive version to have. It's supposed to have extras like higher density wildlife, traffic, detailed damage and some other crap I can't remember.octiceps likes this. -
Yeah, would've been good had it actually been 30 FPS.

Got me there
Max frames were at 30. Average was something dirty like 22-26.
I took a shower after I finished the game

Luckily PS4/Xbone gamers will have a chance to play it at 30 at *drumroll* 1080p!
PC players as well, because there's a strong chance it's gonna be a crap port. Although MP3 was good, or so I'm told. -
I feel this will be more Max Payne 3 than GTA IV in terms of optimization.
-
... hmm? ... ah, of course! Duck Hunt!
-
From the trailers, it looked more like deer hunt to me.
-
Yeah I get the impression they are taking a little pride in this PC release. Yeah fingers crossed it more MP3 than GTA4.
-
i thought those features applied to next-gen as well.
-
I can't wait to get hands on GTA V mods
-
I think its gonna be awesome, will do my best to import a physical copy !
-
hey R* still waiting on the PC requirements!

They said they ll have news during this week, still nothing, only friday remains..

Has anyone been able to run a beta? I am curious to see how two GTX770M in SLI will run it.
-
You mean dying light? I haven't gotten access to it.

i wont be surprised if we get another delay
.They promised 2weeks ago requirements soon and still no word of it.
-
This might be a shocker but I actually don't care about GTA.. Never played the game and probably never will..
-
Good for you. Saints Row and Sleeping Dogs are better anyway.

That's like, your opinion, man...
But yeah, SR2 (and to lesser extent SR3) and SD were kinda shweet. But I still prefer GTA games over any of those and am waiting for GTA V (and praying for my ye olde PC to at least be able to run at low...)triturbo likes this. -
Opinions are like buttholes--everyone has one.

i'm hoping to clear out as much as i can on the PS4 version before getting the PC version, though i would like to see TB do a video on the port quality.
TB = TotalBiscuit -
It's not a port.
-
I am so pumped for this game to finally arrive for PC. I played half of the campaign on my PS3 but I stopped playing once I heard a PC version was in the works. I'm hoping my expectations are met.

Now I kinda wish it would turn out crap... I <del>like</del> love listening him itch about how poor little him can't run a game on constant 60FPS on his 980SLI. Music to my ears
.
However he does make few good points from time to time. -
either way i want to see what they think
anyway, i ran into this while hunting down the scrap letters LOL

I hear you man. The PS4 version is so much fun, it's amazing how FP adds a whole dynamic to the game. Assuming its well optimized, I can't wait for it come out on PC. -
I'm essentially buying a gaming laptop just for THIS
-
this game ISN'T the reason you should get a gaming laptop.
-
i'd be happy if i can play this at 1080p30 and thankfully this ain't capcom though there are reports that the team that ported max payne 3 for pc is doing the port so will see how that goes.
-
Why not? GTA IV was the sole reason to start upgrading my 5920G, of course I like to tweak and tinker, but that's another story. Also I always liked GTA series better than its clones. I never played more than couple of hours of Saints Row and Sleeping Dogs. To each his own, but I think it's perfectly fine that he wants to play it on a PC which is a laptop and likes the game better than anything else.
-
Similar to how you feel, the GTA series is the ONLY reason that makes me want dedicated graphics.
I will be happy if I can get at least >25FPS at 1080p medium settings with a single 750M. I guess it entirely depends how optimized it will be.flamy likes this. -
I would say 900p med/high 40fps+ for the GT750M
-
another $60 i'm gonna be sinking into this game LOLz!

Here's me hoping to be able to run it 768p on low ~20-30FPS on GT240M
.

I think I'll just try the "demo" first to see how well it runs, unless they actualy release a real demo. That would be nice. And even if it runs well, I've been waiting so long I can easily wait another couple of months for the Steam sales to pick this one up for 25% off. The fact that the MP3 team is behind the GTA V PC port gives me tons of hope though, because MP3 PC was rock solid.

it was rockstar vancouver before they got closed down and folded in with Rockstar toronto who dod the GTA 4 PC port so that's the catch!
-
killkenny1 Too weird to live, too rare to die.
Pretty much this. When I see a nice enough deal (25%-50% off) I will try the "trial version" before I buy it. -
Starlight5 Yes, I'm a cat. What else is there to say, really?
It would be amazing if GTA V really runs on GT240M like killkenny1 hopes, not that I believe it will. Oh, and not revealing system requirements so close to release is ridiculous.
-
You guys seriously need to upgrade.. GT240M lol..

Well sadly not everyone has money growing out of his/her back. There are many people less fortunate than us.sasuke256 likes this.
