Interesting... 640M somewhat beats the 555M, the 650M beats the 560M, so perhaps we're seeing the 660M beat the 570M?

    (I hope?)

Stay tuned :) It might just be that the 675m is an overclocked 580m. Anyway my 580m performs already P17.5k GPU with my stable clocks but still looking forward to seeing the 675m perfs.

17,5k P score on single GTX580M is achieved with 0.92v bios and extreme (non gaming) clocks. If one.de statement that 675M = Kepler!!! is correct april should one hell of a month)

You right, but it is achieveed by 0.92 vbios and gaming clocks, why extreme. Extreme is performing almost 1000points extra. Anyway if the 675M is kepler or is performing P17500@stock, I might get hold of it :( but that would be a pleasant surprise after all the leaks we've got..

17.5k isn't particularly high for a laptop with a Sandy Bridge desktop CPU.

    The X7200 with a 990X and a 580M gets about 1000 less:

    Good point.

However, I think it was rather the GPU score rather than the global P score since P13800 for total score is low for GTX580m and any SB CPU.

Based on this nvidia website the 635m GT has 192bit bus, but my friend's notebook ASUS N55, has mounted a 635M with only 128bit.

Someone knows why? I don't see any mention about a 635M with 128bit in this link..

I was really looking forward to the 79XXM from ATI as an upgrade for when I get back to North America near the fall, but damn this is looking a little too delicious!

I'm not really biased towards ATI or NVIDIA, I just seek performance and at a decent price. The next little bit should be interesting...

AMD isn't showing its cards yet. However, i think it will be similar to the last generation in that they will have lower power options that perform 90% of the nvidia product for the discreet market, at 1/2 the price.

AMD's genius is going to shine with Trinity, and other APU products. That is where AMD will make their mark this Generation.

    Hm...
To be honest, majority of performance increase is in the mid-range gpu's.
Higher range ones seem to be scoring relatively close to one another.
On top of that, if some of the benchmarks are to be taken into account, the 6xxx series seems to be producing A LOT of heat.

To me it looks that Kepler provides better performance than the previous generation but at higher temperatures which forces Nvidia to reduce their overall potential.
    I could be wrong though.

The mid-range gpu's seem to be exhibiting at least 50%-70% increase in performance, but the temps according to some of the benchmarks seem very high (over 90 degrees C - though that could have been due to shoddy cooling).
Still, it doesn't bode necessarily well if it turns out to be the case for other laptops.

I guess we will have to wait and see for more concrete results.

Nah, i figure they are just focusing on the Desktop and APU parts for now. I don't think there is any urgency on the Discreet GPU parts at this time, as they are filling the gap with "A" series parts and that 7690M. I wouldn't be surprised to only see 2-3 SKUs in the 77xx-79xx M Series.

The Price is the issue. I think you will see the nvidia prices at the same or higher price points than now. The AMD Parts will be significantly cheaper i imagine on the upper end, and the APU's will make the low end even more affordable.

The Vantage and 3DMark11 score are within ~70 points of my stock Vantage GPU and stock 3DMark11 scores:

The slight improvement in the 3dMark11 score can be attributed to the better Ivy Bridge CPU.

Guys how many times... the GTX675M is the GTX580M. The GTX670M is a GTX570M with a little clock boost to put it a little higher than the GTX660M.
The only high-end card that it`s worth waiting for is the GTX680M and that won`t come until June...sorry ;)
