The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

Well, if people would actually read his post, instead of hopping to the last page so they could get their suggestion in there, then he wouldn't have to be like that.

If you don't want to read a multiple-page thread, then don't post in it. (Not directed at you, Icaru, just the others who suggested the same thing 3+ others, along with the OP had already mentioned.)

just go to www.gamerankings.com and see the best games list because those recommendations will be as random as the ones found here. unless of course you prefer the opinion of random NBR members rather than some random game reviewer. oh and it's not our responsibility to read up all previous post. if you throw out with lazy questions on a public board then we'll chime in with our effortless suggestions. if you feel you're not getting adequate help here then go do your own research buddy.

You just defied the whole purpose of a forum. To help. He didn't ask for us to do research. He didn't ask for reviews. He asked for suggestions on games, from his peers on a helpful forum.

umm we already helped him out by suggesting games that we've enjoyed. obviously the OP is feels offended/saddened/frustrated by our lack of effort put into our response. seriously what's the big deal about multiple suggestions of same game. it just confirms and reassures the OP that the game is actually worth playing. why have rating system w/ multiple raters when you can do with opinion of just one rater right? ok whatever i'm out of this thread as it's not worth my time arguing.

I'm not arguing, and I see your point about how multiple suggestions would be good... if the suggestions were games he hadn't played. A lot of the multiple suggestions he stated in the original post he had already played.

Multiple suggestions are great. Just not when they are suggesting games i illicitly stated in the question, saying i have played.
