I guess i am not alone then. Does anyone knows how to submit a bug error to intel indicating this bug?

Miloman, as i previously said, you can get the 15.11 driver to work (with is better than 15.10 and may solve your blu-ray problem) changing the igfxsrvc.exe and igfxsrvc.dll files located in windows\system32 folder for the ones that came with 15.10 drivers. However, in order to do this, you need to access to another OS (Ubuntu in my case) and you lost the access to the intel's control panel.

Go over to the support section, there is a way to email the intel devs. I used it once when my mouse would randomly disappear (I do feel bad that I never got the chance to reply to them, but my issue went away with the next driver update, so I guess it was moot anyway).

Thanx for the tip. I'll see how it takes Intel to fix this, and if takes too long will try your work-around.
Also will try to report this issue to Intel.

Offtopic: do you know what clock generator MSI PR200 uses? (to overclock it) I also own a PR200 but not so upgraded :)

MSI PR200 is a very good platform

I posted a lot of pictures of the upgrade in process, maybe that can point you in the right direction?

Any idea what changes have been made though? I can't seem to find the changelog

If you're staring at empty space like that, then I don't see why you can't achieve frames like that.

You shoudl do a screenshot of CS in a fire fight with a few guys on the screen to have a better estimate of FPS.

you are talking about the flashing screen?? this only happen in FullScreen mode right? and it's really annoying.. well I found a way to play in window mode but keeping the full control of the window (cause normal window mode is just not easy to play if you get your mouse out of the window XD) when u are playing ;).. this could be usefull until intel fix that problem.

To do this you have to download 3danalyzer app, when you get that you have to do this:

1.- change your res to 1024x768
2.- open 3d analyzer and check the force window mode option
3.- press the select button in 3danalyzer and select war3.exe
    4.- press the run button

After that you'll be playing in window mode, but will be like a fullscreen mode cause the game is showed over everything, like always on top, even over the taskbar.

Hope this voul help until intel fix all this problems.

    Byez.

No, actually we can't even get over the "create game" screen, my laptop always hangs up (NO BSOD) when I click that "create game" button. (with driver newer than 14.33 in XP, haven't try in Vista yet)

Hi again, that problem can be fixed just going back to the last version that uses software T&L, i don't remember the number... I think is 14.25 oro something like that... I remember that these drivers was released arround february.

Hope this help you, cause I had the same issue in XP and I just solved downgrading the video driver.. and I realized that newer drivers gives more compatibility with new games, but those new games don't even run well with this chipset.... most of them runs like sh... even with lowest settings.

    Bye.

You can also solve this problem by making WC3 run in opengl mode. You can do this by adding -opengl to the shortcut target: "C:/root/wc3.exe" -opengl

Thank, I will try this one tomorrow after I reinstall the game. But how's the graphic compare to directx? In Titan Quest and some other games, it's less shiny in openGL mode? Just want to ask, not a big problem with mine though, I've forgotten about shiny graphic since I bought this lap :D
The latest version that can run the game is 14.33, I always keep one in my laptop. :)

tried CS Source with the new drivers. 1024x768, all settings to low, but full HDR on. Quite playable, giving 37 fps in video stress test. Unfortunately, can't compare to the prev drivers as i hadn't played CS for quite a long time.

Interesting, but switching to lower res results in worse performance.

By the way, strange, but i've noticed that medium-far distance objects (boxes, doors, other players) get much brighter than the environment. As result, it's much harder to distinguish who is who. Anyone knows whats the problem and how to solve it?

Man, EA really must've put some pressure on Intel for them to release a driver specifically to fix a problem with one game.

I think all the other companies should do that, there's just so many problems with the x3100 driver and it's not an "young" chipset anymore.

The latest XP driver - 14.36.3 - has the 0x000000ea(device stuck in infinite loop) error fixed for some games like Constantine for example. Before this version Constantine was unplayable because of this infinite loop problem which make the game crush in like 5-30 seconds. Now it's working fine at 1280x800 all ON except AA.

have you check if your vista is 64 or 32 bits since I can not find any other reasons why you got the error. If yours is 32 bits and you still can't install the driver you should download the zip driver and try to install using the "have disk" methods

if it happens every one or two hours when u were playing games and u get some things about igpxrd32 then you have the exacts problems with many x3100 users include me (it happens to me in many games like Max Payne 2 or Devil may cry 4 and Warriors Orochi...) I think 99% of the problem come from driver compatible issue because like in warriors orochi the 14.33 version can help you play smoothly without BSOD, but the newer version let BSOD happens every 15 mins when I play this game.

My information is that this VBIOS is not compatible. I would expect you run into this problem:
    http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/user-community-for-intel-graphics-technology/topic/57863/

However I'd be glad if you try that yourself and post the results here. In the second post of the above thread, you'll find this tool
    http://hcidesign.com/memtest
Just launch it with a more recent intel driver installed and see whether it reports memory errors.

I just had a look over at your toshiba suppor site. The most recent BIOS I could find is 3.00 dated 07/14/2008. Don't know whether this direct link works:
    http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/...hmhddicgfkceghdgngdgmm.0&ct=DL&all_docs=false

If you're not already on 3.00 then I'd recommend installing this one and checking the VBIOS (Video BIOS, which is a module inside the BIOS and ships with this one) changed. The changelog doesn't mention any changes to the VBIOS though.

Thanks for your answer. I do have the 3.00 BIOS installed in my system. I run the memory test you said - no errors in around 30 minutes running. I'll repeat the test in a longer run, but I think that my note does not suffer the bug you say. By the way, I have 15.11.2 drivers installed.

As has been said, the x3100 outperforms the 7150m in benchmarks. And I compared my Core 2 Duo 1,86ghz with X3100 against a friend's Turion X2 2,00ghz with 7150m and my note works better in Max Payne 2 and Half-Life 2, but the 7150m is better in Doom 3 (and, i guess, every OpenGL game).
However the biggest difference was Vista Aero performance, while my x3100 was smooth, the 7150m performed badly when Aero was activated.
