This company did Dragon Age Inquisition, and then lost their lead writers. I guess this is what happens next.

    Touché :D
Though I liked DA:I from the start, nothing like this brutal description.
For the record, The Hinterlands is not my favourite area.

    http://kotaku.com/five-hours-in-mass-effect-andromeda-is-overwhelming-1793268493
It's pretty much a complete opposite of what RPS wrote.

I don't mind Hinterlands. I dislike that basically all other areas in terms of content were Hinterlands with different skin.

You should know about boring - you play Wildlands :D :p

It requires 55GB of space, so I expect a "standard" 27ish GB download size.

    Only by 19 hours! :p

I hope the game doesn't suck. Any access members here? Played the trial?

It sounds like it's just the first few hours some people don't like. (trying to be hopeful since I pre-ordered)

Quick GPU-test (paired with a 5930K) by Swedish site FZ, I'll just link the results. Seems the expected fps with recommend hardware might have been abit modest (avg fps to the far right):

Looking at the characters it seems as if they're not really looking at one another. My kid says it's like talking to someone with a lazy eye. Your not always sure that person is looking at you.

One reviewer is not liking it because it's not Witcher 3 and it's an EA game... Totally pathetic because they're not valid objective reasons.

Which one? Can you put it into more context.
The reviewer doesn't like it because it's literally not TW3, or he/she doesn't like it because MEA's production level (animations, story, voice over) is not up to date with 2015 game?
If latter is the case, I can see his/her point.

Word 'Kek" in the title already suggests it's a faux review.
"Is not The Witcher 3, the pinnacle of all of humanity’s greatest achievements" - sounds way too sarcastic to me.

Also, next time read the disclaimer (it's located below the article):
"KekRaptor is TechRaptor’s Sunday satire series that is aimed at poking fun at recent events. If you’d like to read more we’ve written, you can visit kekraptor.com."

Although I must say, some points are real - microtransactions, horrible animations.

And that's why they have a disclaimer. People are just to sensitive these days about every thing. Say something bad a bout their favourite game and they rage. Just look at those furious Zelda fanbois. Jim Sterling gave it a 7 and then gets DDOS'ed.

Yeah, I'll probably get it too. It does look kinda slightly above average, but it's okay, at least gameplay looks decent enough to enjoy it.
And I need some mindless side distraction from bachelor thesis and LISA The Painful. Crap is too depressing...

I reached the story limit of the trial so either I do more exploring or just by the game.

I do get occasional fps dips into the mid-50s but they're usually short lived.

What I find strange is that BF1 runs like a boss on ultra yet ME:A runs like DA:I runs ... Even when I set everything to high and the render resolution to 95%.

Well this is a pisser. I pre-ordered from GreenManGaming because I got it for $15 less. The game comes out the 21st in North America and the 23rd in Europe. GMG just posted this morning that they won't be sending out keys to everyone until the Europe release on the 23rd.

Heres where the ignorance of the masses comes in, the fault is not of the animator, but of the Engine DEV's / programmers. Because the issue isnt the animations, but how they are qued up and blended.
Good feeling a lot of their senior engine staff quit and went some where else. There is a reason why Activision treats their Engine Dev's like kings.

The animations are serviceable at best and they don't detract from the experience at all...for me at least. It doesn't feel different from the original trilogy.

The only thing is performance and the fps is all over the place.

I would disagree with your opinion. A game, which has a big focus on dialogue must have good animations. Otherwise it breaks the immersion.
I myself recently played some ME1, which is my favourite of the bunch, and animations there are better than in MEA.
