Keep it civil or the warnings and infractions will go out.
I agree it is dumb in this day and age to release a game that doesn't offer keyboard and mouse despite the fact that I use my Xbox controller myself but if I had an actual desk, it would be a different story.

So how's the game run on a 980M? Max grafix? Supah FPS?

I've never played a metal gear game. Is this one good? I may get it. I use a ps4 controller connected to my laptop with blue tooth.

They are fun, and if you have played the previous games, on other systems too like I have, the continuation of characters is fun too. -

It was never a demo, it was a short game, for about 1/3 the cost of the full game. It's not bad, some were hoping that MGSV was at least as good as Zero's, and I guess to most it is.
The reason I suggested it first, besides being previously the newest MGS game'lette, is that it shows the graphics, mechanics, and tone of MGSV without spending $60. If you don't like it at $20, then you saved $80 - cause you can get a refund at less than 2 hours of game play
I actually bought Zeros before the preorder deal was available, and Steam was nice enough to let me refund Zeros and get the package for $60. If they wouldn't have said yes when I asked, I would have been happy to have paid $80 for both.

What I'm against is the practice of selling paid demos. It can be the best game ever, but the fact remains the same - it's a demo.
Some people spent countless of hours in it, it's OK, that's nothing new. I've previously replayed single player demos for hours too, and that BF2 demo with one map (Gulf Of Oman, IMO the best one in that game), I played it so much. I actually never had the full game, just played that one map over and over again. But those were free, I didn't have to pay a dime for them.
If companies get justified for such sort of actions (thanks fanbois!), what stops other companies, like let's say EA, from releasing Mass Effect 4 Prologue To Prologue containing one and a half missions and two side quests for a convenient price of $29,99 (or the equivalent of currency in your region). It will only last you 3 hours to complete, but hey, you can repeat it over and over again! Never mind the full game, which will have hundred of times more content and will make more sense from price point, fanbois have been waiting for it for so long, let's just make some money out of them (and a few non-fanboi people who got involved by mistake)!
This potentially has all the makings of turning into something ugly. We already have these horse armour and day one DLCs. You know what, screw full(ish) games with DLCs, let's just release one mission at a time and charge insane cash for it? What? People will still eat it up!
If you don't think that could happen, please remember that we recently averted paid mod crisis (not sure for how long) and how Square Enix went mad over pre-order bonuses...
It's good that you got it for free, in fact I think GZ should be included by default with TPP, and not be sold as a stand alone game and instead turned into a free demo, so that people like me who are curious about all this hype about MGS V had a chance to try it out and see what the fuss is all about. As for people who previously owned GZ, they should get a discount on TPP.
And before you go again into your "it's only $20" (failing once again to see that it's a freakin' demo), "think about the happiness!", and "you can buy it, play for an hour, and then ask for a refund" modes I will say that it's not even worth to go through all the refund experience for a mere tech demo...
P.S. wasn't the original price (aka the one they asked at game release time) $30?
P.S.S. Steam reviews are mostly useless. They are usually flooded with crap like "11/10 would get arrowed to the knee again and again", just to get cheap "likes" and peer recognition.
But I can play this game. In contrast to the review you've posted, I quote this one, which, in my opinion, is more balanced:
Now, I heard that Mad Max is €18 on G2A... Hmmm, interesting...
*thumbs up* paid 20 euros expected a demo but got a full game 11/10 would buy again -
Anyone have a code for this game from buying a GPU that they want to sell or know of a cheap place where I could buy it? Really want to play the game but £37 is a bit too much for me..

Now, may those of us that paid for the MGS:GZ and MGS:TPP games with our hard earned money, all done through our own personal free choice, get back to enjoying and discussing those games?

With the settings below:
it plays really nice: between 58-60fps. a 2fps drop is not noticeable unless you had an fps counter. -

BTW, did I mention how much I love this game? Haven't had so much joy playing a game for so many years! -
the standard level. you start with 12 fulton balloons and you can upgrade it to 24, you can upgrade it to lift turrets and mortars. there's one where you can fulton vehicles and shipping containers. i haven't gotten the ones for the vehicles and shipping containers.

I am enjoying this game alot so far, just a couple of gripes:
1. You are a Terminator, you aint the T-800 but the freaking T-1000. Nothing can kill you. Snakes weakness must be a steel mill because I have not died a single time even with a couple of people shooting me in the back with assault rifles.
2. No way to adjust the difficulty. Its preset on Kindergarten.
3. Enemy will never call in for Tanks or at least some Jeeps with mounted machine guns. Why not? Would be awesome and make the game more difficult.
4. You keep attacking the same enemy locations over and over again, no matter how often you cleared one. -> At least the enemy equipment stays broken so once the air radar is gone it wont come back.
5. Too easy. ( Snakes HALO Shield would make the masterchief jealous.)
6. D-Dog is total OP. Pretty much enables wallhack.hmscott likes this. -
Sounds like fun, another one to add to the list. (sigh)

Still cant believe this game is not so demanding that my 750m will have no problems running this game, I might buy it because i love the MGS series and I played MGS1-4 and 1 and 3 was my favorite games ever.

Its a great game.I just dont know why extra shadows is so taking for my gpu(760M OC).In nvidia guide its only 1fps difference between extra high and high which in my case is way above that.Thats weird?Post processing is definetly most demanding cause i get a boost about 50% if i switch extra high to high. With those options on high and motion blur off(personal preference) im always above 30fps.Btw guys where i can find that guy who interpretates russian???

it's a side op IIRC.

motion blur in the game is useless even at 30fps cos all it does is stutter even when it's not supposed to.

You know when you watch a fast paced scene in a movie and the image starts to judder? It's like that.

Motion blur only makes sense for me in racing games
-
I only have motion blur on games that run at 30fps as there aren't enough frames to smooth out the motion. I turn motion blur off in 60fps+ games because there's enough frames being rendered to make the motion more smooth and fluid.

Motion blur in cinema and in games are two different things. The former is a natural byproduct of exposure time, the latter is fake and tacked on.
IMO only two kinds of motion blur are acceptable in games, object blur and radial blur (in driving games). When you wave your hand really fast in front of your face, it blurs. That's natural. Same goes if you jack an Aventador from the local Lambo dealership and put the petal to the metal to outrun the cops on your ass, your peripheral vision blurs. That's also natural.
But the fullscreen motion blur that is used in many FPS games is not natural. When I turn my head quickly, things don't streak across my entire field of vision like that. When it is overdone like in PlanetSide 2 and Battlefield, it makes me dizzy and nauseous. -
if it's motion blur is like arkham knight is fine when playing at 30fps.
