opened my bios with gpuz edited to gts clock speeds and volts
saved as NEWBIOS.ROM
loaded up my G 94 M.bin into nibitor and resaved as OLDBIOS.ROM
put files into the usb got to the boot screen pressing esc on splash boot from usb
typed in nvflash NEWBIOS.ROM and it gave me back the same error code ive been getting
bad command or filename is my error -
I just checked the latest BIOS 0213 for the G50vt. The VBIOS(NVIDIA 9700M GT, Version 62.94.3C.00.15) is included in it, therefore you have to change the clocks and volts in the corresponding module in the BIOS. It can be done, but it is risky as you can brick the BIOS!!
You can overclock with the NVIDIA tools core, shader and memory, but not the voltages. -
Well I downloaded winrar file tool and opened nvflash into my usb
That did the trick ...i belive the file never made it into the usb as an
.exe file
Now running gts speeds haven't run 3D mark test yet but ran ff14 benchmark test and everything seemed real stable gained 234 points from the 1987 score I was benching on stock -
I've done this, flash with nvflash, the operation was successful but now the computer doesn't boot anymore.
Cd's light goes on, fan starts and then nothing happens. It's not just a black screen, nothing happens, I tried blind flash but the computer's not working and the flash usb isn't booting anyway.
Any solution please?
It's an acer aspire 5920g laptop with 9500m gs video card -

You need to get it to pass POST somehow, maybe this will help:

Or it might be time to upgrade to an ati HD 4650. -
A bit complicated for me
Any non-hardware solution? I've read about that "Fn+Esc" boot recovery for motherboard bios, might it help ? -

No I didn't get any error, it went ok, got the message "Operation successful" or something like that, it rebooted and.. Nothing.
I tried to remove battery/power cable etc but it didn't work unfortunately -
