    turn off vsync.

    tuurrn ooofff vsyyyync.

    it's broken so horribly.

also up the sensitivity a lil bit.

you get used to the weird aiming mouse movement after a lil while (it's apparently on purpose)

I'll probably get Bioshock and wait for Devil May cry 4 to go to 75% at a later sale

This made me Bawwww. Probably should've read the forums for both games.

The first one was the best game I had played in a while. Was creepy and entertaining.

I actually wasn't a huge fan of BioShock. I enjoyed Singularity much much more, I though it was one of the better FPS games I've played.

I only used Singularity as an example because I picked both up about the same time and they are similar games.

Depends on what type of game you like. There doesn't seem to be much middle ground with STALKER...you either like or you hate it.

the stalker 2009 mod helps fix some of the bugs in the game but yeah....you'll like it or you won't.

or it will commit suicide on your computer since it still hates you (ok that's unpatched original stalker back in 06..or 07 or something)

Stalker looks like a game I would like...but I don't know if I'm willing to take a 20 dollar coin flip on liking it.

Plus, I have to watch what I download because of the SSD. It's what's keeping me from getting Mass Effect. But before that comes Fallout NV...

Same opinion I have. I played Singularity tall the way in a few days and really liked it.

but Bioshock I tried to beat on multiple occasions and didnt because I just couldnt get into the game.

If you have not, you should try the new Wolfenstein game, it looks pretty similar to Singularity to me.

Same here on the beating it in a few days- I actually got it a week before release since my girlfriend worked at a Family Video and they get new releases a week beforehand.

I'll have to check out the new Wolfenstein game then, I didn't even know it existed.

Some thoughts on that last sale Steam had with Frontlines: Fuel of War. The game is very fun. I haven't touched the single player yet, but the multi-player is a blast. If BC2 is anything like this or better, then I am missing out. I hope Steam has a BC2 sale soon.

Yeah, I meant Bad Company 2. The only other FPS online that I play is Crysis Wars. Good to have 2 games to play online now. Lol. I'm also glad Steam had that Modern Warfare 2 multi-player free weekend a while ago. I thought the whole thing was lacking something. I never got into it. My money will not be going there anytime soon.

Anyway, pretty happy with FFOW now.

Yeah, and I have a $5 off coupon from a Wendy's promotion a few weeks back. The only problem w/BC2 is it takes forever to level up - I'm a 41 on the 360 and have been playing for almost a year!

Since I kind of have limited SDD space, which would be a better pick if I were to only get one, I haven't played either.

it's really hard to pick ONE of the two. You'll lose a lot of story by going straight to 2. At the same time, I liked 2 a lot better. I'd suggest you get 1 first and go from there.

yeah that'd be the way to go. Though a lot of the fun of the game is in seeing how choices in 1 effect 2. I played 1 four times and 2 three times because the games were different each time.

Ended up picking up Mass effect 1. I like it so far, but it seems to be a little iffy when it comes to minimizing and just general "smoothness".

    minimizing???

It's a fun game - just don't get trapped in the Citadel doing tons of side-missions. After a while, you start wondering if the story will progress. Make sure you check the journal often to remind yourself where to go to progress the main story.

Haha yeah I stayed there for quite a bit doing the missions, they were alright but I did want the game to progress. By minimizing I mean something like alt-tab, and especially on my Dv6tse, the quick keys on the left side will minimize the game to open a program, it's pretty inconvenient.

Trine is a beautiful game, don't let the side scrolling adventure game description fool you. There is a PC Demo so definitely give it a try. Also unique to this game is the ability to play simultaneous multiplayer on a single machine (no online or LAN play) with keyboards and gamepads. I enjoyed playing a few hours of this with the wife and kid (although we made little progress). It has a nice simple story and beautiful environments and scenery to keep you happy. Nothing too challenging, but a puzzle game none the less.

Hey guys theres a weekend deal with GTA Classics including all the games upto GTA SA 75% off going for £4.99/$7.49

Save 75% on Grand Theft Auto Classics on Steam

Supreme Commander 2 66% off for £5.10/$5.10 and its DLC on sale to for £2.38/$3.40.

Save 66% on Supreme Commander 2 on Steam

Oh and theres also 50% off Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West for £4.99/$7.49 and Shattered Horizon £7.49/$9.99 or both in "Frontiers Pack" £9.99/$12.49 they have a free weekend too.

Save 50% on Frontiers Pack on Steam

I'm pondering as I already have all the GTA games but not on steam collection. And Supreme Commander 2 I'm unsure because of a lot of negativity towards it. Tried the demo while back and it is simplified and smaller but I won't say terrible but it definitely not as good as the first by some shot imo but looks like a nice price.

Didn't even notice till now Battlefield BC2 came down in price to $19.99.
Was waiting for a while to buy it as a present to my cousin.

Now I'm waiting for BF2 to come down in price since you can buy it anywhere in-store here for $9.99. But having it on steam would make things so much easier. Suprised steam is still charging $29.99 for this game :)

Even though I owned Battlefield 2 and all expansions (paid for them when they first came out) I got BF2 Complete on Steam for $9.99 I believe during a sale for convenience sake. I'm sure it will drop to that price again with the holiday sales.

I really do hope Battlefield 3 builds on all the fun and strengths of Battlefield 2 and not Bad Company 2.

I guess Euro Steam is different than. Here in Canada/US it's cheaper for BC2 ($19.99) and about the same for BF2.
