Red Faction Guerrilla was a really good game. If you enjoy just blowing the crap out of anything and everything, it's a must buy.

I love steams Christmas sale...I got like 30 games for under 70 bucks....It was Great...cant wait for this years one

 

I'm tempted to grab Metro 2033, but I'm busy with work + Fallout NV + Minecraft. Waiting for the Christmas sale doesn't sound like a bad idea..

 

yeah. plus it's not like I can play it at full blown "oh damn graphics"

...low. yes. I can play it at low (which is still impressive to me since I'm impressed by shadows and dynamic lighting and uh...the like still. but all the crazy particle effects or the realisticer shadows and other things...nah. that won't work on a poor 5650).

 

Yeah Metro33 is looking tempting for me too. Probably play it for an hour and then not get back to it for like five years when it costs $3, like I do with most other games. Heck I still need to finish Bioshock 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, and Dead Space. Yeah chances are Christmas sale I will blow $100 probably. My kids are too young to want big expensive gifts yet, so $20 at the dollar store will work. j/k.

 

Oh man, if you guys haven't played Metro 2033 yet, what have you been waiting for?!?

I played that game back to back all the way through, and it was still awesome.

It has a Fallout feel to it, but with a little horror thrown in. It is definitely worth the buy.

 

those who have played metro 2033, is it worth playing???

Btw, anyone here plays dogfighter? Its currently having a sales now for a week i think and it costs only 1,5bucks. I love spamming barrel roll when chasing enemy lolol.

this is the sale i have been waiting for to get metro. downloading now. steam does it again. they should have at least sent me a calender by now.

 

Metro 2033 at $14 is a no brainer. These Steam deals are ridiculous, so glad I got back into PC gaming.

Man, lots of games. I always ask how is this game, how is that game, and never end up getting anything. Lol.

Anyway, how is Frontlines, particularly the multi-player? It looks fun in the trailers but the review is 73/100.

 

I really enjoyed the single player campaign. It was kinda short, but more than worth the $2.99 they're charging for it. I didn't care much for the multiplayer and not sure how populated the servers would be this day anyhow.

Just for the record, I was at my local Target today and they had Metro2033 on clearance for $12.48. So maybe check there if you missed the deal yesterday.

 

Is AvP worth $15? I'm a fan of the Crysis games but not a big fan of COD (although I've only ever played it on Xbox360).

 

AVP not worth it.

Frontlines multiplayer is pretty much dead, don't expect more than the single player missions out of it.

I already have the most prominent games on the sale, might pick up PvZ though...

The weekend deal is gonna be a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Bundle (Pripyat and Chernobyl) for 9.99 (75% OFF)

It seems like they put these games on sale every other month. I have Chernobyl and didn't really like it. I'm like 20% done. I haven't picked it up in months and it cost me like $3 back then.

I read that RE5 has some weird controls, so I stayed away from that one. I just picked up dead space and that haunted house game. Looked entertaining.

If you think RE5 controls are weird, try the mouse in dead space, I think you just shot yourself in the foot.

 

I just bought a wwwhole load of console games that I already own lol, DMC4, Dead Space, & DMC3

I also got AvP knowing it's gonna be bad, for $10 I'll pay my tributes, I loved the original AvP, *sigh*

 

The Halloween sale is pretty mediocre this year...a bunch of games I either already have or am not interested in.
