Same here how was the reviews on it?

-
-
it's £17.49 in the uk,

FC2 is €25 here. Bleh, if it was €15 i'd give it a shot, but at €25 I couldn't be bothered. Im sure I could pick it up at that price any day of the week in a store.

-
i think bioshock has install limits as well, maybe this is to do with securom been built into the game?
-
So after formatting my pc 3 times, I no longer own the game?
-
It's a 5 install limit. Yeah it's actually kind of strange since it is through steam. I assume though that at the worst, if you use up all 5 installs you just have to email or call to be able to install it again.
Pretty lame through Steam though. -
By the way guys, if you go into your Steam folder, steamapps/common/far cry 2/ there is a revoker.bat file, so I assume you can technically get your installs back.
-
For $15, I bought it and downloaded it...
I had to take a 10-minute jeep ride before I started playing...and while it got a little tedious, the visuals (using the game engine) were amazing...
As soon as you wake up from your first oopsie, you have access to a flamethrower, but I couldn't find an enemy (which I think was part of the problem mentioned in reviews) before I had to turn off the game to put my kids to bed...and now it's NCAA tournament time...
Incredible environment, but the initial few minutes aren't exactly action packed...and I didn't know you could fix a car by turning a wrench a few times...I may try my hand at an auto mechanic shop now that I know how easy car repair is... -
Just bought in the last hour
But I can't even play it for probably another 2 weeks, doh!

Does this game have 360 controller support? It doesn't look like it im just wondering though......
Also the limit is right this is what it says:
3rd-party DRM: SecuROM™
5 machine activation limit
sad day.

LOL I had been waiting for FC2 to go down in price on retail shelves. Who needs retail when Steam has it for $15?!
*Purchases FC2 on Steam*
Hopefully it finishes downloading before I have to leave for work -
Yeah, FC2 50% off has been extended for the weekend.
-
Wow, didn't even have to think about buying the pack, just clicked BUY BUY BUY.
-
LOL---I had to think about it a little (already own IL-2) but like the other 3 enough to spend a "whole" $10 -

IS IL2 any good? Also the pack doesnt end until monday!!!!
Really sweet time STEAM i hope you guys come out with some other type of sale like this i think it's been a success.
-
IL2 is absolutely FANTASTIC if you like realistic flight sims... it's a STEAL for the normal price of 9.99, as the 1946 version includes all 5 releases. And for the pack price here, it's unbelievable! It does take a bit of time to learn though, as it's not simply an arcade shooter. Great game though, can't recommend enough if you like flight sims.

Red_Dragon Notebook Nobel Laureate
Oddly i do like flight games i like Ace Combat and HAWX i thought they were bought really fun. This is more realistic but i still think i may enjoy it. The reviews on this thing are amazing though. I may just buy the pack as Beyond Good and Evil is a REALLY good game played it but never bought it i might just get this pack for that alone
-
Word of warning: IL-2 is NOTHING like Ace Combat or HAWX. You have to spend many hours just learning to take off, land, and feel how to fly, not to mention a TON of buttons you have to learn and possibly reconfigure.
You also really need a joystick to really enjoy it. Especially one that has rudder control, usually a twisty joystick as z-rotation.
It's fun, but it's difficult and demands you learn how to play it. -

HM, i knew it wasn't going to be like HAWX or Ace Combat but i think this might be something new and refreshing to try out.
Tons of button sounds tough too -
Well looks like I'll be getting Far Cry 2. These Steam deals are gonna make me go broke.
-

hey i need help, what accnt do i login for UT3? it says like check with gamespyid.com and i did and i can log on the site fine, but not on the game.
-
I thought you could make a new account from in-game. Just a user name and password? I could be remembering incorrectly though.
-
I look forward to their upcoming "Battle of Britain" sim. Once you get the hang of it, IL-2 is also a blast online. You will get frustrated but once you figure things out, it is a thrill. Dammit, now *_another_* game I have to go install and play again. I might as well never sleep! -
Here is a great place to start if you're going to play IL-2:

get it?... nevermind. -
lol htwingnut.
I downloaded the Buccaneer demo when it was first released. Seemed like a VERY boring game. -
Tomb Raider: Anniversary is quite a fun game, although slightly buggy.
Just my 2 cents. -
