    im neutral to this but i dont see why ppl worship masterchief, when someone makes a halo reference i smell cheese, i hope this is the last one, now im gonna spoil it to everyone at school :D

    for all u people that watched the ending of halo 3 on youtube, that NOT THE ENDING. if u beat the game and wait through the credits masterchief is alive. is shows him on the end of half a ship with cortana. he then enters a cryo tube so he can survive to be found in space years later.

    Seems like the right ending :p

    Harry Potter had the same hype as this, everybody leaked OMG harry potter dies!!! all over the net. Then everybody read the book and they know the truth now about that matter.

    Im sure this is the same thing, its only "part" of the ending. Besides he is a Marine, thats what we do. Marines dont want to live happily ever after, we want to go kill people, blow stuff up, and drink alot of beer.
