these are quite honest prices, considering that if you live in the UE you will not pay any custom duties if you order from Poland.
if you order extras like ssd from amazon ( in order to save a few euros) this are the prices
(the following prices consider the 850 evo 500gb bought from amazon at 150€ because resellers always charge at least 30 - 50 €)

    GTX 1060 + i76700hq + 16gb DDR4 (2x8) + 500gb ssd 850EVO + no OS = 1500 €

    GTX 1060 + i76700hq + 16gb DDR4 (2x8) + 500gb ssd 850EVO + no OS = 1830 €

now I would buy it right away but does anyone nows this company Hyperbook ? any review ? are they trustworthy?

I have HDD and RAM from the previous laptop which went dead few days ago, so I'm only missing m.2 ssd.
About hyperbook - i read they're quite new company, started in 2015, but they have some realy good reviews though. They're said to be somehow connected to X-Note company, which have been offering gaming laptops for some time now. I think they can be trusted, i'll go with hyperbook probably, as i can't really spend more than 1.5k euro

Why are you cursing us? We didn't close the thread... @Ethrem did so direct the abuse there if you dare...

They are a Polish reseller.. If you don't live in Poland and somewhere else in the EU, get it from CEG... They have a great price and EU wide warranty, i.e they ship your laptop back to Germany to repair and pay for the shipping etc.. That warranty is a bit extra on top though :)

@Prototime - indeed, what a pity. There are literally only three 13-14" models with one of the new GPUs, and two of them are guaranteed to be overpriced throttle-fests (Razer Blade and Aorus X3).

The MSI GS43VR is promising, but will still be expensive where I live. I'd much prefer a Clevo P640 refresh. Other companies have done it, why not Clevo?

Meh, screw Paxwell. I'm waiting for 2018's offerings, anyway. Biding my time.

    A few things guys....

    MSI's offering : http://www.notebookcheck.net/MSI-GT72VR-6RE-015US-Notebook-Review.171103.0.html

Now if you read it carefully!

Response time BW is 25 ms and GG is 34ms... I know enough about refresh rates to tell that this ain't gonna be 120 HZ with these actual response rates. Or maybe someone can enlighten me

About the name : LG Philips display. Really?

52 db of noise. that's okayish

86 CPU and 77 GPU sounds good.

I would say that one did a nice job.

Tbh, just build a desktop lol.. That would be best for you.. I think Clevo is not as focused on anything <15.6" so was not surprised but he P640 not being refreshed..... Also I would have epxected MSI to be cheap in Singapore... Is Clevo actually cheaper?

I hope so.. NVIDIA and manufacturers should learn that they can't keep ripping us off forever.. I'm almost crying looking at the P870DM-3 pricing..

The P640RE, when configured to match the GS43 with 970M, is about S$500 cheaper ($2500 vs $3000).

I want a laptop because of university. I don't want a big laptop also because of university.

My budget is low so it's the ASUS GL502VS-DB71 for me. $1700 with the 1070 in it.

I was severely close to purchasing the 980m version several times so this works out for me. Gsync was a must for me. Now I just have to hope I can get a good OC out of the display. It's a 60hz display unless something has changed from the 980m variant but it looks like its the same just with a new card in it.

I'm looking closely at the Asus GL502 as well. I'm a little worried about the fan noise/temps - would be interesting to see how a 1060 compared in those regards. I think it will come down to the Asus and MSI GS63 - whichever provides the better thermals.

That EVGA laptop is nice, too bad it only comes with 4k display...
And as for Clevo retailers, when will 120hz 5ms screen will become an option?
I would rather not buy a gaming laptop again with a slow 60hz display...

i'm looking at the ASUS GL502VS-DS71 and the NP8153 (CLEVO P650RS).. the battery life is what makes me indecisive on which to get. the ASUS GL502VT-DS71 had great battery life with 6 hour idle and 2 hours gamings but i don't know if that enough to go on

Unfortunately I was told by CEG that in the EU there won't be any 120hz clevo models available anytime soon... I'm also bummed by this as the 60hz display of my otherwise awesome x7200 is a disgrace.

The MSI NC testex had the new 120hz 5ms screen, however in their test they measured 34.4 ms...talking about false advertising.

That's a shame... Have a look at the Asus G502 laptops, they look pretty good and cheap.. Compared to the P650 I would get the 502..

The only problem is whether the Asus is easy to open to clean and repaste...

BUDGET GAMERS: DO NOT BUY A MAXWELL PRODUCT BECAUSE THE 1060 IS "TOO EXPENSIVE." There will be more GPU's coming through the end of September and early October. You will be making the biggest mistake ever by purchasing leftovers. It's like paying for the meal you ate two days ago, again, that's been in your fridge since.

Debating between the GT62VR with G-Sync 60hz and 1060 or a GS73VR with 120hz and 1060. GS73 is $200 more, may have more thermal issues, and doesn't have the MXM card like the GT62 but the GT62 is a beast and not as easy to carry around. What to do.. My local shops have them in stock for pick up today.

Question: If a laptop has G-Sync support, it cannot use Optimus correct? Meaning the refresh rate could be overclocked with CRU?

Pardon me, but that's non-sense. There will be more GPU's even on 2017, if you wait for the best gpu out there you'll just keep waiting forever. Also, something that is "new" will always cost more than what is "old".
If you live in US you might be lucky to find some really good prices.
In Europe is a different thing, expecially in Italy where the gtx 970m is still being sold at 1700€ and the gtx980m above 2000€ (taxes + bad sellers).

It's interesting that Nvidia has released what are effectively three desktop replacement chips -- I don't see how any of them fit below 50W and possibly not even below 75W. Are they leaving the first shot at mainstream laptops to AMD? The 960M-equivalent Polaris is supposedly at 35W.
