    There are only 26 games out for the PS3 in total? Wow, I didn't realize the platform was doing that poorly. Yeah, next time I'll definitely have to do my homework better. /sarcasm

    For the record, I do think that consoles play an important role in the games industry, but I think that computer games are and will generally be "better". Console games are like the big budget marquee release movies of the games industry. Computer games are more the independant and quirky side. The problem is that the games industry hasn't really adopted the model of the movie industry in this regard yet. Movie studios finance the smaller movies on the profits from the huge movies, banking on at least some of the small movies being breakout successes. The games industry right now however is focusing solely on the mega-releases and almost completely ignoring the longshot games. Unfortunately, this disproportionately effects the PC side of things.
