This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    That's like asking about 1 heart pump per minute pulse rate to prolong heart's lifetime.

    I just wanted to mention that this does not seem to be true. I have a Skylake laptop using eDP, and it will run the pixel clock at 285.05MHz (for a 120Hz display) with no issues.
