Life sucks too much for me to give it a go.

Time to play some more video games.

Whoa whoa whoa...Mr. Bob Good Day Sir didn't finish Half life 2?

This is a major problem people. We're talking a class 5 Kaiju event.

Speaking of which, did Pacific Rim even get a crappy movie tie-in game?

And he didn't finish Fallout or Mass Effect. Maybe we should create a prioritized list of what to play in what order, should he start playing again. After all, once a gamer, always a gamer. Just need balance in life.

The #204 pic is only a small thumbnail for me. Did the Kaiju ate the big one?

Lucky SOB. The big optimization patch killed the game for me. It was fine before, but now FPS is literally jumping all over the place. FPS didn't increase at all, it just got 10x worse. I was expecting a million times better performance (that's what the patch was supposed to be for right?), not this game-breaking sh*t. Good going SOE. BTW I'm not alone with this. Besides me there are many others b*tching and complaining about the same issues on the official PS2 forums.

And this is with the 7770? I'm impressed. What CPU do you have? Do you have anything overclocked?

It sounds like the big optimization patch really helped your performance. Can't say the same for myself. I really hope the devs know this is a big issue for a lot of us and get a fix out pronto. Yesterday's hotfix didn't improve anything. The patch definitely should've stayed in Test Phase a bit longer before going Live because it definitely wasn't polished. There are a bunch of little bugs in addition to the game-breaking ones I'm experiencing. I'm pretty bummed out because this game is extremely fun and addictive when it works.

Well damn. I find that kind of hard to believe, but good for you. Now stop rubbing it in my face. :p

I'm still CPU-bound like a m0f0. I guess the rumors are true then. PU01 was a desperation move on SOE's part because heads were going to roll. Completely a PS4 optimization for AMD CPU's and GPU's at the expense of Intel+Nvidia setups. That's why PhysX has been removed and SLI is broken. I've been forced to stop playing in the interim, but if they don't fix this or godforbid make it worse in the next phases of O:MFG, then I will leave the game for good. Thank goodness I haven't spent a single penny on PoS2.

Bob successfully trolled all of us but it was an entertaining thread regardless if he is trolling or if he is really telling the truth about his lazyness and not giving a damn about real life and about the future.

If he is indeed serious about his current life situation and his willingness to be that way and not showing any shame or whatsoever then good for him, it's his life, people die everyday, people get sick, people get hungry, and in the end, you die and nobody really cares since we are all a statistics/numbers in this world so let him do whatever he wants.

Now if he is indeed trolling then no harm done since it was still an entertaining thread and very good advice regarding life experience from HTwingnut that should help a lot of people to survive this complicated thing we all have to go through which is called "LIFE"

So I'm now up to 154 games after this current sale. May still buy one more. I was able to finish up BL2 and Bioshock 1 this long weekend, and i am DOTA'd out from the diretide event. I've started the following games and would like to hear suggestions on which one i should finish next. Choices are:

    Bioshock 2
    Bioshock Infinite
    Fallout New Vegas
    Crysis 2

I'll also add that I am pretty much posting this because I feel it is my solemn gamer duty to keep this thread on the first page in memory of Mr. Bob Good Day Sir.

Hmmm, i think i may go for Fallout. I've gotten through about a quarter of Fallout 3, but I once i discovered God mode i couldn't stop myself from just running around murdering everyone.

Also, am I the only sociopath who tells Butch in FO:3 that yes, I will save his mom only to go ahead and beat her to death in front of butch before killing him as well?

Use mods though, otherwise New Vegas sucks (just like any other vanilla Bethesda game).

    Dude, that's cold...

    Pretty much this.
But I personally don't go with mods too far. I usually install a few to enhance the gaming experience more, but otherwise I prefer it to be as close to vanilla as possible.

And as far as what I did to Butch and his mom....Dude tried to steal my birthday present. Decisions were made.

It's gonna be tough. For such things Nexus' FO NV portal is far superior:
Fallout New Vegas - mods and community
I usually go with some mods from top 100 list. There's everything a casual modder would need.

You mean whose cupcakes? Yeah. I gave it to him too... after I spat on them.
