Try reading buddy, the OP doesnt want or need 3DMark scores =P

Hey, is there a reason why you're not using my HD2600 scores? And the RAM on both systems are not 800Mhz but rather 667Mhz.

I intend to limit the table to the last 2 generations to keep it simple, but at the moment we don't have too many data, a few older cards won't hurt. I'm going to include the HD 2600.

As for the RAM, I looked at the specs of the M4400 at Dell's site and it stated DDR2-800. If you are sure yours is at 667, I'm going to correct that.

Just installed DOX 185.68 drivers, and got some slightly better marks for DMC4 DX10. Gonna do the rest of the benchmarks too and post another worksheet. For now, here's what I got for DMC4 DX10 for comparison:

    185.81 Drivers

    Low: 198.9625 fps
    High: 101.8175 fps
    Super High: 88.92 fps

    185.68 DOX Drivers

    Low: 202.54 fps
    High: 103.6225 fps
    Super High: 89.2675 fps

I replaced the RAM so yea, Im sure it's 667. Didnt feel like spending another $50 for 800 when I already had the 667 laying around. You dont have to include the 2600, was just wondering. Im a curious person =P

Nothing significant, give or take 1C.

EDIT: Here's my benchmarks using DOX 185.68 View attachment BenchmarksDOX.zip

    Observations:

Crysis: DOX 185.68 starts out performing worse than 185.81 at low resolutions and slowly gets better at higher resolutions. At 1280x720, DOX 185.68 begins to overtake 185.81

X3: X3 prefers 185.81 by an insignificant margin

World in Conflict: DOX 185.68 performed better at low/medium, and the same on high.

DMC4: Slightly prefers DOX 185.68 in the majority of scenes.

60fps at full HD on Ultra High? Those dual 3870s pack quite a punch!

You should run the benchmarks we're doing, I'd be interested to see the results.

What scores do you prefer to include in the table?

I'm going to include the driver version used in the table. Could you summarize the drivers you all use?

Where those with MSAA or without? I need them without.

Also: what amount and kind of memory have the cards? And what Windows version did you use?

There is no DDR2 9800M that I'm aware of, it must be GDDR3.

I have a new benchmark sheet coming later today, which is my final overclock results, and then I'm going to make a stock clocks one. Both will use DOX 185.68 drivers, and I'd like both to be represented in the chart for comparison.

4GB DDR2 System RAM, but only 3GB used because of
    Vista 32 bit

Stupid MSI and their 32-bit weirdness. I'm planning on hanging with it until windows 7 comes out and then upgrading both at once.

Im sure the 1 GB left is assigned to hardware, thats why its not utilisable in MSI 32bit, and thats why your 4850 will have about, say 2302mb of memory :D

ok no problem. that benchmark was at 1920*1200. can you also add my team name on mines. sorry i can't be posting benchmarks like i am solo. it is in my sig. i will do more benchmarks. also don't you think you should have more resolutions. because i heard at those resolutions, the gpu isn't really being worked out.

does fallout 3 have a benchmarking tool.

The more info the better, but using a lot of resolutions can bother most users and would make the table unreadable. So you have 2 low resolutions that can be used on most laptops and the "native" one to stress the GPU. Maybe another table could be done, using only one setting (say High or Very High or whatever) and several different resolutions, but there is a big spread of maximum resolutions (from 1280x800 or 1366x768 up to 1920x1200) so many users could only contribute 1 or 2 of them... I don't think it's worth it.

Also very happy with these as its fluently playable, even when it gets tough.

Next is X3, i dont like this too much as i think the old black sun nexus engine does a better job with effects as well as textures, but i was happy at how my card did when it came to vertex testing :).

Hei Johnksss, those are really good scores! Your Crysis score is very high compared to the one of the GTX 280M OC: is that in single mode?

BTW, I need to know the amount of graphics memory of your 9800M, the kind of your system memory and the OS you used to run the tests.
