It's low settings and resolution like 800x480 or something like that, but it was running decently iirc. I don't have it any more so can't check for certain. I thought I did a YouTube video on that one, but I don't see it, so I guess not.

I find the ME2 story richer than ME1 one, and more non-linear, probably because of the loyalty missions. Still, I've liked the ME1 character stats more, ME2 character stats approach feels somewhat too "consolistic". Anyway, I had to spend 20 euro on 3 ME2 DLCs on Bioware, which is more than I expected, at least I've paid only 10 euro for ME1&ME2 on Steam, a bargain for these games.

    And I didn't spent a dime on both ME1 and ME2. Thanks, Wingnut! :D
I liked the ME1 story more, because it was more...how to put it, local, down to Earth. The human colonies were in danger, Citadel (??? maybe, I don't remember), whatever. You had a job, you did it.
And then ME2... The entire galaxy is under attack, someone help us. Only you, one dude/lady with a handful of people, can save us all!!! Think of the children!!! Bleh... Sometimes Bioware is just full of crap...

I was playing this game a while ago and I have been playing it for a long time now. I love Pokemon Zeta and I agree with your review about the game setup but my rate would be 9/10.

    Crysis 3: 7.5/10

It's Crysis, graphics are supposed to be amazing and they are. Main campaign felt much too short though, especially when played with Crysis 2 back to back. I finished it in 20 hours and that was with me taking my sweet time to poke around each and every corner of the map. Most people finish it in under 10. It's clear that with Crysis 3, a lot of effort was put into the story writing (even more so than Crysis 2), and for once I actually enjoyed following the plot development, and towards the end the plot really drove the game. Everything made sense and nothing felt (too) contrived or cobbled together. Going on the merit of the gameplay itself the game would probably be a 5/10, but taken as a whole (visuals, plot), I'd give this a 7.5

Also, I feel this game will be more enjoyable if you've finished Crysis 2 already, as you'll be more involved with the plot since it picks up quite nicely where Crysis 2 left off.

Wolfenstein: The New Order - 9/10

Just finished it. It was great fun, kept me going and interested, and not so difficult you'd get frustrated and just want to quit. End boss was a bit difficult, but not too bad. I highly recommend it. I like that you're a little more open to go a bit stealth or guns blazing, although sometimes you try stealth but have no choice to go guns blazing because of their senses, well except for when they stand there staring at the wall and you can just walk right up and slit their throat...

South Park: The Stick Of Truth.
    You guys, it's super kewl...

I do however think that only a true South Park fan will enjoy it to the max. A lot of references from the show (and popular culture). Otherwise a great story (just like some people have said, it's basically an entire season of SP) with lots of jokes of various caliber, surprisingly good gameplay (before I saw the gameplay videos that bother me as the thing that would suck the most), which doesn't limit with just point and click, you have to time your attacks and blocks accordingly (and believe me, you won't always succeed), and a pleasant to the ear soundtrack. All this, and more, is South Park: The Stick Of Truth. One of the best modern day games I have ever played. And I don't just say that because I'm a fan of the series.

Now, from one TBS to another. C'mere XCOM. I will, however, come back to SP very soon - want to try out the "Jew" class :D.

    Planetary Annihilation - 7/10

Great concept and very original. Still a diamond in the rough in my opinion though. Game still in gamma phase so improvements to come.

A must play if you are a Total Annihilation or Supreme Commander fan.

Best game I've ever played. Seriously, any fan of RPGs needs to play this game. Still looks and plays well for being 10 years old. Must-play game.

I remember playing the demo for it and being seriously impressed, though I never got the full version. Like Neverwinter Nights, it was exciting to see a pen-and-paper RPG translated directly into a game and actually work well.

I haven't exactly finished it yet, but I'm playing Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition and oohwee! It's a great, great game. This is my first time playing Baldur's Gate and I have to say, it's living up to all the hype and then some. Absolutely a gem of an RPG!

    Watch Dogs:
I played the "pre-release" lol and liked it so much I bought it right away. I just finished the campaign and a bunch of the side stuff. I know some people had major issues and/or didn't like it but it was refreshing to me. Great story, the hacking was a unique feature which is hard to find in games nowadays. I am not that picky with framerate on non-FPS's so I didn't have any performance complaints.

It forces you to think in a more strategic way. It's got so much built-in that some may find it overwhelming, or not great at anything. It has action, shooting, puzzles, driving, platforming, exploration, item collecting and tons of side quests to do. I'd give it a 8.5/10. I tried the mod that enables certain features but it cut my FPS in half and didn't add anything notable for me so I went back to vanilla (1080p on ultra with FXAA). I played most of this on an MSI GT70 with an 880m. According to Steam I spent 45 hrs on it, and I had about 30 hrs in the pre-release also.

    Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon:
I just did this one this weekend. I knew it was a shorter game (got it on Steam sale for $5) so I wanted to complete it before I started my next game. I am rating this based on the $5 I spent on it.

The music, the 1990's story telling via comic style low res graphics, the actors (Micheal Biehn), and the hundred one liners ripped right from 80's classics like Terminator, made for a very enjoyable experience. I played on medium difficulty and it wasn't too hard but there were a few spots I had to try multiple times. I tend to like games easier, I get irritated with the constant need for some folks to have games be as difficult as possible. I like to come home from work and play games as a relief from my real difficulties and prefer a relaxed game.

I believe my total game time was about 8 hrs. For $5 it was an excellent deal for me. I actually LOL'd several times because I recognized many of the throwbacks to movies on my youth (I grew up in the 80's/90's).

I played Fry Cry 3 when it first came out, now I have the itching to go back and do more of the quests and item collecting which I never finished. Far Cry 3 is a much more "realistic" and larger game of course and even has multiplayer.

    Dark Souls 2
9/10 One of the best ARPGs ever made and the real Diablo successor. Player choices matter. Player skill required. PvP out of the box. Death hurts and you will die A LOT, but success means you can count yourself as a real gamer. Difficulty is extremely high but also fair. Indeed the vast majority of WoW-ites will ragequit after the first few trash mobs curbstomp them for 2-3 hours. (real gamers will kill them easily even as complete newbies) Mods allow the real game to shine forth and fix many of the issues making it almost perfect once modded.
    Points taken for:
-Mouse/Keyboard Control scheme (fixed with mods, or by adopting an Xbox or Playstation controller)
-Graphical letdown (Far under PC capabilities at this time, but fixed with ENB mods similar to Skyrim)
-PvP cheats (They are rare, but invulnerable PvP foes happen... note you can still kill them by kicking/luring them over a ledge, and the devs are indeed banning offending players permanently. Thankfully the vast majority of people who cheat in such a golden PvP game are staggeringly awful gamers.)

    Titanfall (2 day trial)
    6/10
About as good as the Arcade shooters get (CoD/Battlefield/etc) This one is Battlefield or CoD with robots. They are weak robots with nice firepower who repeatedly die extremely easily to players who just use another gun or just leap on top of the robots. Still, the game is fun and frantic and campers often meet their doom due to the vertical aspect of the game. (wall running, double-jump, etc) Tactics like run/gun and sniping work, but have counters and that guy you think you have cornered might just drop a titan on you. Less cheese than most other arcade shooters, but aim assist is still a nagging problem. (can see it when you watch the kills)
Best arcade shooter, but not worth price of admission.
    Points taken for:
-Not really a new game, just another modded CoD or Battlefield game with a twist.
-The titan weakness bugs me. They are far too weak and common. Sadly the game would be better off without its namesake.
    -Auto-aim anything is always bad.
-Campaign is a waste of time unless you want unlocks earlier.
-I really wish games like this would include a single-player campaign with some thought behind it.
-Fun, but way too expensive for what little you actually get.

Last story-based game I played was KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic).

It was ... amazing! Even for such an old game (with decade old graphics), the experience was no less than perfect. I rate it a 10/10!

    Highlights

    - Fell in love with the story (plot twist)
    - Gameplay was strategic and fun
    - Side characters made this game extremely enjoyable
    - Progression of the plot was never boring or felt out of place

    :) just my two cents!

I have nearly finished Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, and if I had to rate it, I would give it an easy 10/10.

It truly is a masterpiece. It's up there as one of the best games I've ever played.

If you haven't ever played this gem, play it now. If you've played it in the past, it's time for a new playthrough :D.

There are many reasons why I rate this game so highly.

For one, the loot system is on par with Diablo. At least to me it is. You find unidentified objects and you have to identify them, and there are tons of unique items with their own backstory and lore, which is awesome.

The story is great and pretty epic, and the storytelling is done very well. This was made in an age before games became interactive movies with a million cutscenes, so the "cutscenes" that this game has aren't many but they happen at the perfect time to add some exposition to the main story.

The combat is also great. It's very tactical and strategy plays a big part in it. Constructing your party is important and using all your members to their strengths is equally important.

The magic system is phenomenal and one of the best I've seen. Basically, you have a fixed number of slots for spells that you can memorize, and there's TONS of different spells that do unique things, so you'll have to plan your loadout carefully. And you can't just spam the same spells over and over, you can only cast as many as you have memorized. Great system.

The exploration is also top notch. There are a bunch of large maps and unique encounters to find on every one. There are some deep dungeons and some great outdoor areas and towns/cities to explore.

All in all, it's an easy 10/10. I hope you guys will have as much fun with it as I have so far!

    Thanks for reading :)

    Battlefield Bad Company 2.
    Single player:
your standard "evil Russians screw over the world and goody 'Muricans try to unscrew it" kind of story. Can be fun, but very stale at this point. Nonetheless big kudos for hiring people who actually speak the language to voice ze Russians.
That being said characters are pretty fun, especially that choppa driver. Level destruction also adds more fun to the gameplay.
And by the way, Haggat (or whatever), that wasn't An-225, it was An-124. Seriously, learn your planes...
Multilayer: probably the hardest one I have ever played. I've seen how fun it can be, but unfortunately so far it was an opposite experience for me. I can't shoot for sugar and I don't really know what's going on for the most of the time. I also kinda think that maps are too big for 32 players. Maybe it's not for me.
Vietnam: now that's what I'm talking about! The only reason I still haven't deleted the game. I reminds me of good ol' BF Vietnam. I still get shot a lot, but I don't know why, but MP here seems to be way better that in BFBC2 itself, even though it's the exact same thing.
And of course music, love it! Each time you approach a vehicle there's a radio blasting some Vietnam era inspired jams. Nice!

Also, it loads, connects to be exact, very, VERY slowly. It gathers my stats for like 3 minutes each time. I don't have anything to gather! You go into multiplayer, 3 minutes of loading stats. Find a server, play - great! Disconnect, loads moar stats. Switch games, guess what, let's load more stats!
Next time I'll just ALT-F4 it.

I think that bad company 2 had some of the better controls of the bf series. In bf3 and 4, all of my shots just felt so lazy and slow. In bad company 2, everything feels more tight and connected. The sniper rifles bullet drop is also a ton less dramatic.

Just finished Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition at the 99 hour mark.

Brilliant game, plain and simple. If you're a fan of RPGs and you haven't played this game, you must buy it RIGHT NOW and install it! If you have played it already then you know what a gem it is.

Just brilliant role-playing all around. The story, the tactical battles, the dungeons, the lovely (and difficult!) expansion, the shiny loot, the quests. It has everything. It's a must-play game.

Buy it now if you haven't and play it. Just be prepared to lose your social life for about 100 hours :)

I've just finished ME3 (w/ From Ashes, Leviathan, Extended Cut). What a journey has been! Now, after more than 150 hours spent playing this series I can say it is the best series I've ever played! I've been a Fallout fan since the beginning (I mean since '97), but now the ME series moved to the 1st position. I'm a science fiction reader and have never played anything like this.

Halo 2: 9.5 / 10 Watch me screaming @ the end like a little girl .Woulda been a 10 but I felt the end came too soon. Praying for a PC port of 3 and 4, otherwise, might pick up an Xbox One for those.
Borderlands 2: 9 / 10 Played alone till the end. Looting gets tiring after a while but its still nice to find some gems. Hope they allow multiple elemental weapons in 3 and/or crafting. Not sure I have the strength to go through True Vault Hunter Mode.
Currently installed and partially through: Metro:LL, Crysis 2, Torchlight 2 (loved the original to bits), TES:Skyrim, NFS:Most Wanted (2012). Hopefully, I can finish these in the next 2-3 months.

What a difference mod can make! Almost nearing the end of this modded game and I'm having a blast of a time! Never was being in a war so much fun!

    Watch Dogs - 8/10.

Got it for $17 on eBay, new. Would have been $10 if some guy didn't keep bidding!

    Pros:
    Cheap.
    Cool storyline.
    Graphics look decent.
Interactive game-play with the city is cool (hacking, etc.).

    Cons:
    Feels too much like GTA.
    The driving is horrible.
There are too many damn video scenes, lol.

I'll probably give it some time and play through the whole game before completing dismissing this as a "decent" game.

    MechWarrior: Online 9/10

I really like this game. There is endless complaining (can't say the "b" word here) on the forums about all the stuff that was promised, yet hasn't been delivered.

It's F2P, but you *can* spend money on it (lot's of money if you wish) for mech packs and premium time to earn more C-bills (mech upgrades and new mech chassis) and experience (unlock mech skills and pilot skills). It is team based in a 12 vs. 12 fashion. There are 3 game modes:

Assault: Kill all enemy mechs or capture the enemy base, time limited
Conquest: Kill all enemy mechs or reach 750 points by controlling any of 5 bases, time limited
Skirmish: Kill all enemy mechs, no bases, time limited

Half the fun is customizing your mech to suit your play style. My best mech is an Atlas D-DC that I have painted very bright purple. Yes, I have a large, slow mech with ECM that is bright purple. hehe

    MWO:Mechlab Atlas D-DC

I play this with my son and his friends at times. We do very well as a team of 4-5 and usually are responsible for over 1/2 the kills per match. Great fun talking smack with the boys over Ventrillo.

    Saints Row 2, 3, and 4

As a once huge GTA fan, I can honestly say now that I'm a much bigger Saints Row fan than I am a GTA fan. The protagonist makes the game for me, unlike GTA where there's a new one every single time a GTA comes out; you actually get to create the person, import him/her, and resume their crazy life. I can't really talk about the plot without ruining it so let me say that you need to go in to the game with a light heart, expect to have fun, and don't expect the game to take itself too seriously.

Graphics - 8/10 - Keep in mind that these games are outdated but even so, there should have been better textures for PC. That said, SR2 is rough to play; even with ENB it still looks rough and its harder than crap to install properly

Sound - 10/10 - The games have a great soundtrack, a lot of the music (outside of hiphop) were more/less songs I heard on the radio or on XM. Perhaps its because I'm an old(er) gamer but I found the songs during the cutscenes to be a huge advantage for the game, they couldn't have picked out a better song for a certain moment. The only thing it lacked, which GTA has; is a radio option to play your own music. I hope they add that in SR5

    Controls - 9/10 - SR2 is a mess but SR3 and 4 worked great. Would have been a 10 if SR2 wasn't such a mess

Plot - 11/10 - Honestly, I needed a game like this; the plot is funny, the dialogue is funny, and like I said above - it never takes itself too seriously. This game feels like a Bad Boys movie in the sense where there's a lot of action but there's enough comedy to keep my eyes from glossing over

Final Score - 10/10 - In order to completely enjoy this game, IMO - you have to play it from at LEAST SR3. SR1/SR2 help a lot in flushing out the older characters back story who are referenced throughout the later parts of the series but you don't need to. For the price the Saints Row package has been going for on Steam sales, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not buying it. Its a real fun game that when I was done, I could legitimately say that this was the biggest sleeper hit for me in a long time and I cannot wait to see how SR5 unfolds because after 4...lol - its going to be heavy.

Wolfenstein, fast paced, lots of action no slow downs. 9/10

Just discovered Sleeping Dogs, LOTS OF ACTION. My kung-fu sucks (mostly fighting game), but I can't stop playing it.

Yes there is lots of "action," and even more pork buns. It's highly addictive once you get into it. I finished up the main game a few months ago but I'm gonna go out of my way to complete as many of the Steam achievements as I can. That's how much damn fun it is.

    This is my favorite part:

    Dear Esther: 2/10
Come on Really!? It's the most depressing, slow paced interactive (if you can call it that) short film that exists. Not worth $10... I think I grabbed it for like $2 during a Steam sale. More of a waste of an hour than anything else.

    Quake Live: 8/10
Good Nostalgia. Fun romp for some quick online frags. But it also gets tiring quickly. Good to see it revamped though and on Steam.

Yeah well, I didn't realize it was like it was. And at first I thought the ending was a glitch or just the intro...

I did it twice because first time it faded black, said "come back" like it did when you die while "playing" the game earlier. After I jumped off the tower, turned into a bird, into the dark, I could hear the water but it just sat there in dark for five minutes. I tried again and same thing and googled and found out that was the end. I thought it was just the intro... lol

    Dead Rising 3 6/10

0 sense of progression, less than 10 inventory slot, skill system point less. Story is ok-ish. Item "weapons", some are fun but there aren't much choice if at all(either OP or trash).

Require using old driver for nvidia user (before the 344.11 was released which is 2 days ago..)

co-op may be more fun but meh.

    Diablo3 Patch 2.1 : 6/10

    Season -> almost point less,
endless meaningless grind get more meaningless. 0 new content. Lack of builds.
