Here's some single & multiplayer screens I took in Bad Company 2. Played it on my desktop 1920x1080 maxed settings 2xAA (60+ fps). I love the last few screens.

Man maksin01 Bad company on your system look sweet! I thought it was good enough on medium but wow on super high it looks beautiful.

 

Here are three from BC2, they were taken at 1920 x 1200 with FRAPS in BMP format and then converted to JPEG's with a save quality of 8 in PS CS4.

 

Here's some new screens (maxed @ 1920x1080 2xAA) from the Just Cause 2 demo. Game is fun and the controls are better than the first one as well.
I removed the 30 minutes timer in the demo so I can play it as long as I want.

Pretty fun, much improved over the first, no manual in the game though, just a manual on the disk. My internet connection is really good (in fact I sacrificed some TV channels to make it even better) so I have not noticed any issues. There is a day 1 patch, improves multicore support and a few other things. As for performance it stays at 30FPS on all maximum settings. Can drop to 25 though if it gets busy.

 

Nice pics. The environment of BC2 seems really detailed, it looks great on your rig. My only gripe is that the guns that the player is holding seem relatively un-detailed compared to the rest of the visuals...

It's out? How's it play compared to the original DoW2?

 

Yea it came out 2 days ago. Plays similar to DoW2, just with new maps, new units (for multiplayer and also for The Last Stand mode), new race (Chaos!!), and also a new campaign (I haven't tried it yet, but everyone says it's much more fun & better than the DoW2 campaign). I've only been playing The Last Stand mode and so far I'm having fun leveling up with my 2 new TLS heroes (Hive Tyrant and Chaos Sorcerer).

 

Read in the other thread that the original and expansion are being bundled together on Steam for a discount, should be good for fans of the first game who didn't pick the sequel the first time round.

Why is that? Modding is just another game.

Nope. It's a bog-standard Excel macro for editing .2da files... Such as those found in The Witcher.

 

Fair enough opinion, but a screenshot modding the internal guts of the game really isn't very awesome to quite a lot of users. Raises more questions than answers really.

 

Here's some from Metro 2033 (DX10 high settings @ 1920x1080 on my desktop).
I tried using DX11 high settings and FRAPS says I get about 40fps, however I noticed there are some lag in the game so I turned the settings back down to DX10.
Looks good and plays well enough for me.

I saw DX11 shots at 1080p and graphically it's very impressive. I heard the gunplay is weak though, what do you think?

 

DX10 and DX11 settings looks quite similar in this game.
In my opinion the gameplay is decent, sure the weapons may not have as much kick sometimes, but at least it does play and feel like a standard first person shooter (unlike STALKER, which just feels weird ).
And also this plays nothing like STALKER, it's just that there are a few things in the atmosphere that looks similar to it, gameplay is entirely different unlike many would think.
I also like the great story & adventure feeling of the missions, something that the Modern Warfare 2 missions doesn't provide (MW2 is all run & gun and nothing else).
The atmosphere / presentation and details in this game are just totally awesome.

 

These ones are from Dawn of War 2 Chaos Rising's singleplayer campaign.
I chose the corrupted path and gotta say the SP missions in Chaos Rising is much better than the original missions (no more fighting on the same few maps again and again ) and the story also has some unexpected twists.
I really enjoyed it and I'm gonna go back and play it again this time choosing the righteous path.

Some Just Cause 2, amazing game, great stress reliever (almost as good as Red Faction Guerrilla, Red Faction has the advantage of more destruction). Haven't even really started the story yet, just got in there and went crazy. XD



Don't ask me how he did this, maybe Scorpio is just that awesome? XD

 

Awesome screens! I just got the game and are randomly having fun with it too. This is definitely more fun than Red Faction imo.

Even after all of these years Crysis still blow me away with how beautiful that game still is...

On my first Duex Ex play through

 

The last time I played that game was back in 2000. I must say; looking back at it now it doesn't look all that bad for a 10 year old game.

 

i added some texture mods and using a DX10 renderer plus im playing at 1920 v 1200. Pretty fun game but the "good job but we still have problems!" stuff is getting annoying since its a long game.

 

im liking the facial polygons...dam i can't even count that high...teacher never told me to count past 10

Glad you like those. I just finished the GTA Episodes. Both are awesome but I like Gay Tony more coz the drug wars are more fun than the gang wars in The Lost and Damned.
