Thanks, it's a Sager NP9850, really was worth the price that's for sure, does not seem that there is much it can't do (Haven't found anything yet anyway) and I don't overclock. :)

Hmm that´s not the highest quality settings Darkness for Red Faction? I have the same game but mine looks better in Vista with DX10 maxed out.

Yeah it was the max settings, probably just the area that I was in. I did have a strange issue though, sometimes I would start the game and it would run very fast like the characters would move to fast as well as wind effects and such. Could be I took the pics at that time. I would notice some of the quality would lower at times that happened. To be honest though RF:G really didn't look that great anyway. I would like to say I would check it, but I finished last night and deleted it.

    Here's some S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky:

I know... I tried it today and was disappointed. So far it is the only game that wont play at that resolution. All other games are well above 40fps and fully playable maxed out.

Crysis always did like nvidia more anyways.

Oh well I didnt really want to play Crysis anyways after beating it 2x thats enough, I just wanted to see what it looked like ultra wide.

Thanks, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC and Clear Sky are by far the best games I have played in a long time. So much so I ordered the Russian version of Call of Pripyat and getting it sent to my in-laws to mail here. XD

Sorry I forgot to answer this earlier, Crysis with that natural mod on stays between 25 and 30 FPS, without it stays around 30.

Here are some Darkest of Days pics:

So far I have been to The Battle of Little Bighorn, American Civil War, World War I, and World War II. It's an alright game, there is some inconsistencies. Like at one point the your time cop partner translates a Russian commanders instructions in WWI, in WWII he claims he understands no Russian.

Yeah, you start off in the battle of Little Bighorn about to be killed just after Custer is. Then some future corporation takes you out of the time stream and hires you to fix time stream problems. It is a nice concept, big battles, messing with the time stream is interesting, like setting up your own escape from a Nazi concentration camp. Overall not bad, but your sidekick gets annoying.

Oh yes and the PhysX is pretty good too, explosions kick up leaves and stuff, pretty cool looking.

Love the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl pics, have to load that up again. :)

Finished Darkest of Days, good game, great concept. The ending is a little odd, expect a sequel. ;) The Pompeii 72 AD levels were intense and the ash in PhysX was incredible. XD

lol not really, its just sub-PC gfx, im fine with 360 gfx, tbh those darkest of days look pretty bad on pc, so i can imagine what 360 users are getting . but a lot of games arent that bad, its not like ps2 gfx or anything.

but judging by ur sig...u really wanna put the hate on the xbox rite? haha

Really? I mean it is no Crysis or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky or anything like that, but with ambient occlusion, PhysX effects and a high resolution I don't think it looks bad. Nothing great, but given the amount of NPCs on screen at one time and really nice PhysX effects, that are quite subtle, I think they did quite well.

The FailBox deserves every ounce of hatred and venomous bile that can vomited onto it. Here is some action shots of mine doing what it does best now... Keeping dust from collecting on my nice TV stand.

Indeed, no joke there, I can't wait to unload that FAILBox and replace it with a PS3. :) Soon I hope, just have to wait till school is done. Then I will have a PS3 to match my Sager NP9850, the ultimate gaming combo. :D

ArmA 2 plays really well on the NP9850, I am just messing around in Armoury mode here. You can fly planes and helicopters in ArmA 2 as well as cars, boats, motorcycles, tanks, jeeps... It goes on and on. Here are a few more with other vehicles.

It has high system requirements and was pretty buggy at release time. The first patch fixed a lot, and it is a pretty amazing game, so much better than Operation Flashpoint 2.

They are good, not difficult to master and even better with a flight stick.

Here are some night shots. :)

Well so far I havent experienced any problems with it (apart from it crashing on the load screen for my existing save game, after I updated it - starting a new campaign fixed this). I run it at 1920x1200, with everything on high/very high and my view distance set at about 2000 out of 10,000. In larger battles it can sometimes become a bit laggy, but for the majority of the time, it plays pretty well.

To add to the L4D2 demo screens,

This is what pipebombs do now, in the old L4D, pipe bombs would just cause a cloud of red smoke, which when comes in contact with walls/floors will stain them with blood, the new one in l4d2 does this!

no, those are prolly high-res low graphics quality setting, with obviously no AA.

L4D1 looks better than that, that is def. no way near max setting. at least for MAG, that's true.

Mine are all maxed out completely, with full AA, AF etc. in 1920x1080

MAG's set of screenshots for l4d2 look like max settings but with no AA in 1920x1200

But yes, they are maxed out, and I personally think the game looks pretty good, especially compared to the first.

    Here's one with the machete,

Now this one was kinda weird, but I found it while going through the console, it gave me the hunter's hands, but I couldn't actually do anything with them, but note that these are much different from the ones in the first game.

Yes I agree the source engine was great but definitely shows it age now when it comes to graphics.

Got a few, I just un-installed the game though, I hated it with a passion... :( So disappointed I spent $50 on it.

Care to elaborate on why you hated it?
