heh, i'm just starting out on ladder and haven't played for 2-3 weeks now >.< i really need to work on my macro and try to get my effective apm up. sometimes i'm in the mid 70's for a min but then after a few seconds i do nothing for AGES!

zerg player btw on the U.K/europe servers

 

Just think of stuff to do. Check your bases every few seconds for no good reason, or keep on scouting. I dunno

 

Hey guys, official announcement in regards to this weeks NBR SC2 Game Night.

Since this Friday night is holiday we will not be having the game night this week.

I myself am working for some extra money or I would get on anyways so feel free to get on if you wish, maybe a small number of people can get together and go ladder.

Also may as well let you know now that starting next week I will be having the 2nd official NBR game night start.

Saturday Nights Starting @ 6PM EST and later we shall be playing Left4Dead 2.

Get on when you can between 6PM and like 11PM hopefully enough of us get on at the same time to form some games. Just hang out on the mumble server for a bit until you find enough players to start a game.

So mumble will probably be important in organizing this since there is no "everybody get on at x time" like we have with SC2.

I'll tweak as we go if need be.

Well im back (after almost 4-5 weeks without my alienware )

Surely i will be online in the next friday night, at least now i feel more faster the loadings with the 820QM that dell replaced for my old 720QM (without charges ).

Now i need a better GPU, but i can't buy a new one (honestly yes, but like i will return to germany i need to do savings ). I missed a lot my i7 (I felt like a turtle in the Qosmio with his crappy C2D, also it burns as hell when playing like 15-20min with 80-90c).

I have been working 13 days in a row, but have this Friday off, just that one night for SC2 game night.

Us tigers hibernate a lot during winter

 

anyone had problems with this freezing(sc2).Cause im gettin kinda annoyed.
Ill be playing then 10-40mins bam frozen(can still here music)
the screen goes black then turns off then turns back on and takes about 20 seconds to go back to game.or it stays frozen which results in me Ctrl+alt+del to close the game.

i have unistalled and reinstalled gpu drivers
checked i got latest bios.
made sure evrything else is up to date.
its not temps as my gpu dosent get pas 80 degrees
i set my gpu down to stock clocks and ran game at lowest but problem still persists. its toataly annoying.(specially as the demo ran fine. and so did my guest pass. before i got the game)

anyway help would be appriciated.!

Anyone tried playing 1 million ultralisks without lagging? Lmao i get 1 fps at lowest settings when it masses.

 

So I play 1v1 for the first time in awhile since the new patch came out today.

Once I won that game, I immediately got promoted to "Master's League". So weird, don't really understand the point of this league.

 

Above Diamond I do believe.

I have not played in sooo long

I wont be playing this Friday either I got super sick and had to call off work last night, the only way I got off was to trade my only night off (Friday) so I'll be at work.

I didnt even know they had a patch today, I have to go see if they made any cool changes.

What drivers are the Nvidia people using for sc2 ?

 

I'm on 257.21 because I'm too lazy to update it ._.

 

Confirmed Master League is top 2% diamond.

In other words me and you will never 1v1

it's funny because sc2 feels like it runs worse and worse efter patch they release...

Im sure it will if you play it on the new "extreme" setting.

Witch I have absolutely no clue why they added that since I cant see any difference between High and Ultra and even my desktop 5870 card comes to a crawl on heavy unit maps on Ultra.

Add a friendly mothership with cloak and its GG frame rate.

Really the biggest point to make is that your zoomed out like 2 miles away from the 3d models, so any small improvements you make to the models cant be seen outside of max zoom and nobody uses max zoom for anything. Even max zoom is still pretty far out from the action.

 

I am playing Absolute low, even tweaked the variable.txt to make texture go even lower!!

I dont have a 3 year old crap laptop, its actually a 2.66 i7 (boosts to 3.33GHZ) and a 1GB 330m which should handle sc2 on low just fine.

I do get 200+ fps early game but it seems that no matter what settings I use, the game just will slow down late game and in a 2v2 , 3v3 its 100% certain it will.

 

Still in no league currently

 

Just an FYI, if I'm on, I'm always in chat channel NBR.

On another note, I've successfully lost 8 solo games yesterday

It'd basically be an easier way for NBR members to find each other on battle.net, instead of having to friend everyone.

 

And they still haven't increase max party members from 6 to 8?

Yeah last week I was so tired that I got on @ 10 and when saw nobody was on yet I passed out with intentions of getting on later but never did.

This week I wont be on since I will be at work, but I am training the new person now so with luck next week I will be free again every friday and able to have some other days off work so I wont be so sleepy.

I enjoyed the overtime while it lasted though.

 

I got on at around 10.30~11 last week and saw no one so i went back to playing some dota with friends ._.

 

Not sure if I'll be on late tonight... but will definitely be on from 7-8 EST
