    Really good games tonight.

    We played from 10PM to 2:15AM

    Got some good evenly matched team games in, and some custom games.

    Nobody complained about teams or maps this week (yay)

    Star Battle is awesome! I love it. Reizo rules in that one too... but at least it's managing one unit. Great game. I like it better than vanilla SC2.

    ninja assassin aka reizo is pretty good at Star Battle. I played him yesterday last night while I was doing an english paper and lost to him in a 2v1 (me and his friend vs reizo).

    although after the first game I have to admit that I lost interest and didn't play as good as the first one. controlling 1 unit gets boring fast and the amazingly slow speed of the units in the beginning of each level does not help.


    did you use that weird timing attack with the archons?

    I dunno. I like star battle. It's intense, but the slower pace lets you actually chat and have fun instead of constant go go go go go for 30+ minutes.

    If anyone remembers Henry Bollocks (UserEGO), evidently he passed away 1/9/2011. I just found this out from his son (who logs on as UserEGO) on SC2 last night.
    (Assuming he's not pulling my leg or anything - so hard to tell on the internet, but I'll assume this is genuine)

    I asked him, and he wouldn't say. He said it hurt to talk about it. Then he wanted to know if I'd 3v3 with him...

    But yeah, he was great. I still remember he lost his first 12 1v1 games, and now is at the top of his league with over a 50% record.

    Mine has the faulty SATA controller chip, so I'm gonna have to live without my machine for a couple weeks come May or June when they will replace the motherboard. :(

    Was adding SC2 to my steam games list again since I had to restore the laptop and install steam from scratch.

    Found the .exe for the public test relm.

    So added that and tried it out.

    You start all over, like a whole new account and it has new maps and stuff. Problem is I think only good players really know about it so I did my placement matches.

    Won my first 2 games with ease (as Terran no less) but then got WTHBBQED for my next 3, just really awefull rushes, and I was rushing too but yet got outrushed. I had 4 barracks on one game and the protoss out united me with a 4 gate or maybe more.

    The next 2 after that I was like 4 or 5 marines at my front and in comes 2 zealots and 2 stalkers and owned me. So just these really small early unit rushes got me.

    Makes me think I may need to start walling in again as Terran or perhaps use a bunker.

    I was all optimistic at first thinking I may place Diamond since I was doing so good, but after the 3 crushing defeats (from low ranked players) I qualified Bronze. So a part of me just died inside lol.

    When I played on the test realm it has none of your settings from the normal game, so I fixed my resolution and stuff but forgot to fix my hotkeys.

    I was like why is my is SCV not making!!??
