no. they probably won't show up until you actually try setting your computer above low -
Whoa... Holy crap... that's some intense stuff right there.
What resolution were you running at? I'd just like to know for comparisons sake since we have pretty much the same specs (well minus the SSD and the Bluray drive). -
Ultra setting on all, 1920 x 1080.
-
Damn you, lol.

Thats how I roll
Though considering all High just so I can get higher fps in those horrible situations esp since I record games with FRAPS.
I have seen it get down to 4fps before on my desktop with a 3.6ghz Q6600 and 5870 when on stages like Evolves having a huge swarm of units fight one another. -
I can do Ultra on my Precision at 1920 x 1200 but go for the extra frames because dammed if I can see a difference! fun game, for sure. Just got my son a copy to play coop online....if I can get him off WoW long enough....LOL

Ballin... just do ctrl+alt+F to get fps on the screen. Who needs fraps, when you have a mobile phone to record video? It better be Symbian or WinMobile though, cuz Iphone sucks to record videos.

Athlon XP2400+, 1GB PC133, Geforce 6200, XP SP3 can barely run it with all on low, starting a campaign take 1x s to load.

Your way below minimum requirements so i think its time for a new laptop.
Update on mine at the beginning i said i could run it all high at 1600 x 900. I can run it at 1600 x 900 All ultra shadows medium 30 - 50 fps.
5730 is a pretty good card

Athlon 64 3200+ OC'd to 2.45ghz, Radeon 9600PRO, 1gb ram. Runs okay on low, for campaigns, 1v1, and 2v2 comp stomp. Nothing beyond that though. FPS: 20-28fps during the 2v2 game. 20-25fps during the 1v1. 20-25fps during campaigns. Playable/Tolerable?--Yes. Preferable?--No.
It's time to go shopping, ntsan. Or save up till Black Friday! -
Sorry if this has been covered, but I'm running a 2.26GHz p8400, 9800m GS (512MB), 4GB ram and I found that my FPS goes from about 20 to 40 at high, simply by disabling reflections. At high, nothing else, even shadows, seems to make a difference with that particular CPU.

So far its been great on 1920x1080 ultra settings on Asus G73JH-A2. However, I did experience a crawl on the single player campaign mission where you have to defend with protoss.

Ati beta drivers 10.7a announce it will have Anti-Aliasing on SC2 though CCC. Now only if CCC would open.

I don't play as the Protoss very often but noticed that my game slows to a crawl when clicking on a pylon (after several have been created) or trying to create a new building. My fps drop from 50 down to 20. Is this happening to any other ATI owners out there?

i think you misinterpreted those results. the 5870, 5870 x2 (cf), gtx 480, and gtx 480 (sli) were all within 5% of each other. that means that:
1. SLI / CF isn't helping
1a. The graphics card's power was most likely not the limiting factor in these tests. -
Well yeah. I guess I oversimplified as a result; there is confusion.

Last I checked CF is not working on SCII yet, may just need a profile.
If I had a CF setup still I would create a profile for it and see what happens. -
How is this possible? I have a core 2 duo p8700 and hd4570 (oc to 850/950) and I'm running it on 1280x800, ultra textures, and medium everything else and I get 30+ fps.
