You can, just dont get into anything illegal.
Emulation is legal, roms are legal if you have the original. So I'll just assume you have the original.
I do have the original on my DC but before I hooked up my DC to the arcade I had it on my PC. Used NullDC as Chankast wont even work for me in Vista x64. After I figured out the sound issue it works really well for the most part.
Thing that sucks is I prefer to play the PC version now vs the real one because I lose my VMU file with all the characters on my DC, but for the PC I was able to just download a save file.
Have not played it in a long time though, and after SF4 going to MVC2 will be difficult.
Tatsunoko vs Capcom is a great game too, I have it imported for the Wii, but it is confirmed to be coming state side and even to have some new characters that the japanese version does not have.

yeah i have a wii too but i dont know if i want to get tvc, it will be impossible to play on a wiimote/gamecube controller the only thing i can think of is the classic arcade wii pad or whatever its called, but i dont wanna drop the $ on it for one game
heck i havent even touched brawl for over 4 months now and thats the only game i have.
Edit: The online play may suck as much as brawl also (if there is wi-fi???) -

It should have online play in the US version, and the classic controller is only like $20 full price, I got mine for $12 on sale.
I use my arcade controls for the game though as I built a adapter for it so I dont actually use the classic controller for it. -
man 2hrs later i find a copy in the shop so ill have to sell the other one
still yet to try it tho -
so far this game is amazing....online is awesome i hope they add some cool downloadable content...im using the xbox 360 controller and have so far been ok...i wonder how much its really holding me back...

lol realsied the day i got the copy. the one i was waiting for i was meant to collect from the post depot 2 days earlier as i missed the post lol. but yea works just fine. i play with 55-60fps with v-sync on at 1360x768 resolution.

ugh... can't change the system buttons. Like I want for start to be enter instead of esc so I don't have to reach to pause. And pressing "end" on my num pad on my lap top does nothing with num lock on and off during the trial mode so I have no idea how to do that attack without pausing and stuff. help?

that dhalsim photo is great lol, I just got 2 player working on my arcade setup like 15 min ago. Im about to crash but glad I finally found a valid work around for the lack of controller options that SF4 has.

Does the retail version come with a manual of some sort? If its just a single sheet insert of the cover, then I'll probably just get this on Steam or D2D. Otherwise, I like to have the manuals and so forth.
-
Lol they have character swaps for other games too like brawl, its pretty common to see lol, but still very weird.
-
manual included with moves and setting guides etc -

No manual obviously if you get it off steam but one of the moderators at the Capcom forums is supposed to be posting the .pdf file of the manual soon. I'll cross post it here when I find it.
