    It says, "this application has failed to start because d3dx9_33.dll was not found. I'm running the 162.18 drivers. Should I update?

    you should update your directx.Install latest version of directx even if you are using vista.

    Zepplin68, you need the latest DX9 SDK from M$. Or alternatively, download the dll from here: http://www.m3fe.com/760 and then put it in the same folder as the EXE.

    about half of the screens are on max settings, the other half is medium textures, but everything else is on except forced light shaders or w/e there called. The FPS is not that high but it is incredibly playable, and I'm running older drivers. 162.18. Once the new drivers are available on laptopvideo2go, I'm sure the performance will jump. Amazing game

    Also the 162. 18 aren't that new, the newst drivers are 163.14,15,16.

    lol its half and half again, 1440x900, and about 1370x700 or something like that. Photobucket downscales my pictures to 1024x577 for some reason.

    Im having it crash along with the plane (im serious after the plane crashes and the logo apears my game crashes)

    Is the DX problem?
    Im gonna reinstall DX10 just in case

    Same thing happened to me. I'm running the stock drivers though, so I was thinking that was my problem and I'm going to try some newer drivers.

    As for that getbot thing, it worked excellently for the download but now I want to uninstall it and I can't figure out how... On the site it says uninstalls completely & just go to add/remove programs but it's not even on the list for me to uninstall it (i'm in vista, 32bit) and there isn't any uninstaller in the program menu for it.. any ideas?

    12-15 FPS on High on 1680 x 1050

    21-25 FPS on Medium on 1280 x 800

    That's odd...not much FPS difference no matter how much I change settings. More odd is that it's quite playable at 12 FPS.

    Select the download, hold G, and then right click repeatedly. I'm getting around 500 kb/s on wireless with mirror 2.

    Games are getting way too big. This demo is the size of 2 games I have on my laptop. Wish internet connections speeds would catch up. Just wondering, does the DX10 version run more intensively that the DX9, or does it simply get better effects?

    I ask because LOST PLANET DX10 ran like "£%"£^%.

    On my 2.2Ghz, 4gb RAM, GeForce 8600M GT 512 MB Sager NP2090 at my native res of 1680x1050 I found the game unplayable except at low settings :-\. Still looks damn impressive though.

    Ok So i 8600GT report.

    I played this game on the high quality setting and am getting like 25-30 fps on the 800x600 widescreen resolution (First game ive seen that has a widescreen version of the 800x600) Gameplay is amazing. Scary as **** though. I dont think i have AA (didnt see an option for it though) but it still looks amazing.

    are your connections always going down? when I click on it it's around 400, but when I leave it alone the conectsions go down and I get <200 :eek:

    Btw for those of u with problems. install the latest drivers (163.15 is what i got) and then run the game from them. Make sure to lower the resolution and the GFX quality until the plane crashes and u can get back up then crank them up again.

    That GetBot is crazy. I was trying to download through one of those links provided via IE but was getting 23kb/sec at the max. Now I am getting 1300kb/sec. And this is through my school's wifi. I can only imagine how many people I am slowing down atm.. Muahahha!

    You have to keep right-clicking every once in a while, so it gets up to 100 or more hits. It might been a little annoyance but it's totally worth the wait.
