Man I so want that Cyberpunk game they're working on. Going to be so good if the quest writing, art style, sound, music, engine.. Well.. Pretty much everything.. If it's all to the same quality level of Witcher 3.

Dammit, I want to play TW3 so much!
Previously installed Skyrim and spent day and a half installing mods just to play it for about 15 minutes after which I was done... I mean ENB, high res environment/water/armour/etc. textures, weather/atmosphere mods are all fine and look damn sweet, and I'm finally able to run it all, but meh...
Too bad GMG currently doesn't offer any discount coupons. In the mean time I think I should probably play TW2

I dislike such software, be it Galaxy, Steam, etc. The less I have to deal with them, the better.zizimonzter likes this. -
So you frown dling files and also software that makes that easier and auto-patches games. QQ

Nah, not really. Just a small inconvenience. Better than dealing with Steam and such.
I actually liked how Rockstar managed GTA V download - you had to download a small downloader which directly downloaded and installed the game. Usually such method is divided into two separate parts, but I guess with GTA V taking up around 70GB Rockstar had to figure out something else. It still installed Social Club though. -
I still use the GOG Downloader. Unless and until Galaxy gains one specific feature then I will continue to use GOG Downloader.
This feature is not re-downloading files if they already exist. -
Can someone please help me to get the Happy ending part of Witcher 3? I completed but at the end Ciri just vanished and Geralt killed the last crone thats it whereas some people got the ending where ciri come back. If any one can tell me whats wrong with the ending and if any save game available to change the ending,it will be great.

I stopped reading that. Please use spoilertags, especially if you're talking about the ending.

Oh my, you guys, the game, it sure looks good. And the combat also feels nice.

If the ending sequence is any indication of what is needed here is what I did:
In all interactions between Ciri and Geralt, choose the dialogue paths that makes Ciri happy, such as the snowball fight, destroying the lab, etc. I'm guessing that this gives her hope to live. I also had her fight the crones instead and chose to leave with Yennifer.
EDIT:
Here is a detailed actions behind the 36 endings... so guess my theory was wrong.

Ha, I've been playing since launch on and off, about 35 hours in, loving every minute and still only a level 9 with a long way to go. Combat feels right, story is engaging, side quests are great.
Enjoy!Mr Najsman, Ionising_Radiation and killkenny1 like this. -

Some new features in the next patch.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Patch 1.07 Key Features:
- A new, alternative (optional) movement response mode for Geralt.
- A player stash for storing items, available in various locations throughout the game. Stash locations are marked on the player’s map.
- Crafting and alchemy components no longer add to the overall inventory weight.
- Books are now placed in a dedicated tab in the Inventory and books that have already been read are properly grayed out.
- Multiple sorting options are now available in the Inventory.
- Alchemy formulas and crafting diagrams can be “pinned”, meaning all components and ingredients required to make them will be conveniently marked in the Shop panel.
- Dozens of fixes for quest related issues, both major and minor.
- A few performance enhancements, including the optimization of FX, scenes and general gameplay.
- Various improvements to horse behavior.

Oh, that. I forgot about that. I swear, Wiedźmin has better fetch-quests than Skyrim... Each one feels hand-crafted.killkenny1 likes this. -

I can't wait for the patch but those two fixes above, seem kind of redundant to me. Why get rid of the weight of certain items when you open up storage to the game? -
Ionising_Radiation ?v = ve*ln(m0/m1)
Wait, you haven't exceeded your weight limit? :O I had to install a mod to jack up my weight limit- I carry around too much armour and all my weapons. Still haven't found a decent place to sell them. -
That's because the fetch quests in Skyrim are dynamically generated. It's part of the radiant quest system. It helps make plays-through feel less cookie-cutter. I rather like it because it takes me places to explore that I might not otherwise encounter.killkenny1 likes this.

I was riding on a horse in-game and and while doing so I had some philosophical thoughts regarding the great Skyrim vs. The Witcher 3 debate. "Man this game looks and plays nice," I thought. "Well, I can make Skyrim look as good as this, and I kinda like the bow & arrow + "stealh" gameplay (that's one of the reasons why I frequently replay the new Tomb Raider, the other being bewbs), not to mention the ability to make my own avatar." But then I saw a question mark. There stood this ol' lady asking to find her frying pan. What killed me wasn't the fact that I had to find the sodding frying pan, but Geralt's face reaction and response.
There was this other thing which also made me lol. A certain archer asked to recover his lockbox and Geralt replied "I won't do it for free, Withcer's code and all." The amount of CDPR put in characters, their facial expressions, dialogues, really deserves a huge praise. And the way they developed Geralt. Although I really liked the first installment of the series, in there Geralt didn't strike me as somewhat of a noticeable hero. I didn't play a lot of TW2 and then skipped it (will revisit it later), so can't comment on that, but the more I play TW3, the more I like Geralt as a protagonist.
Whole game is a big step ahead. From TW1 to TW3 you can really see the difference.
Yeah, nothing beats a horse ride through region near Riften. Has to be the most beautiful in whole Skyrim. Too bad the city has such a bad reputation... -
Just saw this was on sale for $29.99 USD on Greenmangaming VIP... all you need to do is log in and hit the VIP page and you'll get the sale price. No idea how long it is on sale for, but fantastic price for a fantastic game!
I picked up COD:Advanced Warefare just now during the same sale, it was $22.99. I know I know same old yearly money grab, but I wanted to play through the Campaign and see Kevin Spacey in action, big fan. -
there's a 2.2gb patch....what is it? v1.07?

Where do you see the patch? I don't see it on Gog.com.

FWIW - Cdkeys.com has been running witcher 3 for 29.99 since it was released, and COD AW for 24 for a few weeks lol - but GMG usually is unbeatable!
skyrim vs witcher 3 debate - nothing to add, I enjoyed my play through of skyrim, but I have been at least equally enjoyed through my playthrough of witcher.Ionising_Radiation likes this. -
Why do PC users have to wait? Sounds like it's done.
" CD Projekt RED aims to release this new patch simultaneously on all platforms, something that will definitely disappoint a number of PC gamers as they'll have to wait for the console certification until they can get their hands on it."Mr Najsman and Ionising_Radiation like this. -

Well, if they had released the PC version first, then console gamers would rant and rave. Now they're doing this, and we PC gamers don't like it. As they say - everyone's a critic. -
Well companies usually don't have any qualms with releasing consoles first and making PC's a sloppy second months or even years later. But the opposite, and they hold on to the PC version. I don't care really, I haven't had much time to play, and won't really be able to get into this game until this patch is released anyhow. But just another example of how PC's are second rate.Mr Najsman, killkenny1 and Ionising_Radiation like this.

I look at it this way: if CDPR want to let Xbox owners beta test updates before I get them on the PC then that's fine by me.
Ionising_Radiation and HTWingNut like this. -
Yeah I know. Just that it sounds like it's been complete it just is delayed by the console approval process so we'll all get it at the same time whether it needs more improvement or not.

So, if I have Witcher 3 on Steam, could I buy the Season Pass from GOG to support developers a bit more or do I need to buy it through Steam? I don't want the game through GOG as I prefer Steam for a pile of reasons, but thought I'd at least ask. Wasn't quite sure after reading the GOG store page.

Steam

Steam.
Expansions often don't work right when you mix vendors. In particular, anything that modifies executables or data files can conflict with Steam's and/or Galaxy's data integrity checking mechanisms. -

Damn, it looks like I've got that White Orchard cemetery bug. I killed the wraith, continued my witching business, and then I came back later the barred door (note: not the wooden one which you destroy with Aard) was locked. Didn't realize you had to go there immediately...
I hope they will fix it again in the upcoming 1.07 patch. Not to mention I'm running out of space in my inventory...
On a side note, Gwent is a really nice mini game. The one that doesn't feel like a chore and you actually enjoy playing it. -
Thanks for sharing the direct link. I've been waiting for days to get the full list hoping they'd fix the Zoltan card, which it appears as though they are. It did quite enjoy playing Gwent, but didn't really start until after I left White Orchard. Quite a few quest fixes and some quality of life improvements too. Something as simple as highlighting your equipped gear on the repair panel is a welcome change.

So I tried E3FX today, version 7 to be precise (8 wasn't to my liking, too much bloom, although there is a version without it) and to be honest, I wasn't that impressed with colour corrections. Played for about an hour, then back to vanilla. I like it better.
