Well, it's a shame i already got some good stuff from DZ and Scavenging NY. But, i understand that they have to keep it fair for the new players.

 

Been there, done that. This is the second time. Have some good loot this time around, even better than the last time.
Oh well, 08.03 is just around the corner

I like this game. I'm itching to buy it. Graphics are great, the environment is amazing, and the real world map is awesome. It's pretty challenging when you fight the bosses, and while it's not realistic when you got to shoot a normal guy with no armor 20 times just to kill him...for some reason it just works for this game. It gives it more of an arcade feel, and I don't think it takes away from the game. I wish I could play it longer to test other weapons and upgrades. Not sure if it's going to take time away from playing Dying LIght...but I do wish it had a zombie mod, and more of an emphasis on surviving..like needing food, water, etc.

 

Yup, can't wait to play the final version, hoping to get a good price for this one.

 

So what do you guys think about Gold edition and it's Season Pass?

 

that I will never buy a season pass hate the concept..

 

Too expensive, don't really know what's in it (not enough info given).
Personally I went with standard edition, because: a) you can always buy the season pass later; b) I may not be around that long, so no point in wasting money; c) content is not always worth it.

It means that I have a terminal disease - FSXionitis. If I don't get to play FSX soon, I'll die. Luckily there's been a vast improvement in treating this condition lately. By watching plane vids on Youtube patients can prolong their lives and make their suffering less painful...

Stupid jokes put aside, it means that I might not play the game long enough to warrant the purchase of season pass.

The game ran pretty poor on my 780M with most settings to medium and some low.

In some areas like inside buildings i get ~70fps, and outside open areas around 30fps.

 

Sorry to hear that, your 780M deserves better.
Could it be CPU-related since the massive dips where outside with weather effects etc? Your 4700MQ ran full speed?

considering that my SLI 980ms barely ran at 60fps maxed out, I can understand somewhat. Did you monitor your CPU and GPU usage? I found the game to be taxing on the CPU at times which might affect your framerate somewhat.

 

I was running with a 680M so I never bothered to check fps but it was bad I am sure.

Yea. Game+Season pass is 89,90 euros in Ubisoft store as digital download.
Sleeper Agent PC version was 99,85 in couple stores. So for mere 10 euros more, I got a physical copy and the other goodies. Had it been more, I would not have gone for it.

Runs pretty terrible on my 780M, i don't get it a 660 can run this game smooth on my friends PC.
My card should be faster no?

 

Probably experiencing some sort of throttling. You should keep an eye on temperatures.

 

Is there single player in this game? Is there a single player campaign? Cannot seem to find a straight answer on this and I would love to play this game but I am not crazy about multiplayer. Thanks for any response and info.

That's what i thought, but it's not it, 780M runs at full speeds and temps are decent.

CPU is another story, it gets very hot at 40-70%, around 90c but i don't think it throttles at tho's temps.

I capped fps at 35, and lowered my res to 900p (at 1080p it refuses to go in exclusive fullscreen, 900p does for some reason) but it still struggles to hold 30fps in big fights.

 

Actually I was surprised it is actually metal, not plastic that I expected. Still, even worse is no 24hr clock. It might still be a fun gadget to have at lanparties but other than that, it will stay in the box

I just installed new nVidia beta drivers, readme says some fixes for the Division included.

 

I've got boxes of that cool crap, and I love it

It's fun to take it out and put it through it's paces again, and it brings back the memories of that time.

Those along with the game books / manuals, all invaluable stuff.

Even if I can't find it, no longer have it, it's still with me.

Hey Fellas enjoying this game i am rcjonessnp175 on uplay hope to see fellow laptop commandos around. getting decent performance, i have noticed a smoother game play by having the fps unlimited set in game with vsync on compared to the locking it at 30 or 60 fps. running a Alienware 17 with 970m overclock at +135/+220

 

I didn't experience this myself, but I hear quite a few ran into this problem.

Strangely it came without shoes... Also, crafted this SRS. Move over Mosin-Nagant, I think I found my new love!

 

I was going to craft it but I got better one as a drop before I went back into the base. We were running missions with a friend, hardmode on. Definitely not a walk in the park. Wiped a few times too.

Killed boss, I checked loot. A 3500dps green sniper rifle. Friend got a pair of gloves.
Killed boss in second mission, a 4500dps blue sniper... friend got another pair of gloves

This one is "blue" and does something like 3500 DPS. Not too shabby I would say!

Tried doing Madison mission on hard while still level 4 with some other random dude (same level). Welp, we certainly got rekt .
For now I just do solo, explore stuff, complete missions. Really goes hand in hand with a ghetto disco station I listen too while playing .
Only ventured into DZ once so far, while taking a shortcut. Got attacked by 8 bots in two waves at entry. On spot levelled up 4 levels, extracted crap, went on with my business.

Brazil, eh? Interesting...

Found a new SRS . With mods it does up to 5k DPS

 

Loving this game so far, been fairly addicted. I'm off work for a few days so I've been grinding it out with a couple cups of coffee each morning. Up to LVL 20 so far.

1440p Ultra settings brings my 980 Ti to its knees. I average around 40-50fps.

 

So, I seem to be having a strange glitch. Every time I pick up shoes, they disappears in my inventory. Has anyone here experienced this kind of problem?

 

All cosmetic clothing do that. They appear in your clothes inventory but do not use space in the regular one.

 

You didn't understand me, some shoes I picked didn't show up in shoes menu in appearance items inventory. See for yourself:

Now that I knew what to look for, same happened to me.
I've been running with same clothes on almost the whole time, so I haven't really noticed this.

 

Hey guys, is this game worth getting?

A friend of mine has it, it looks awesome, decent reviews - but I'd love to play with people, mostly dark zone style.

I am in Europe.. not sure if everyone is on the same servers or how it works. Also... uplay sucks but whatever

 

I'm curious about this game for the opposite reason. I read a post that says you can play the missions solo - does that mean completely by yourself, or do you have AI teammates alongside? Or is this a game that has one big open world with other people milling about and you can join up together with them, a la Test Drive Unlimited 2?
