Pretty sure ill be alright with my 660m... sure i wont have any filter but ill probably push medium at 1080p 30-40fps.
Graphics arent everything... gameplay is the most important part of gaming.columbosoftserve and Robbo99999 like this. -
I agree, for years when I played and replayed gta4 on my 9600mgt (ddr2 variant) in the dv5 (2.4 c2d) I kept the graphics at medium'ish but enjoyed the gameplay, however I began to dabble with ati in the AW series because I detest'd the Optimus feature (which despite doing everything wouldn't engage the 460m) so I had teething problems with 7970M, but man, FC3,BF3 and SC blacklist work at their (IMO) best and I leave the settings as the game intended (which is full hd) heck I have never even changed the profile within gpu settings either....but me age is catching up, and life's getting busy, but this is my only "sin" ...I would like to play both GTA 5 and watch dogs (kind of same in structure to a degree) for some time, and use the R4 till such time we get ultra book variant DTR laptops
So would an 3740qm with 32gig of ram backed by a 7970M cut it for watchdogs? -

Hell, AC3 looked GORGEOUS in places so I'm psyched for AC4. especially as the system requirements for that are so low. -
Link please
To me games @ 30fps feel big sluggish or stuttery, i prefer a minimum of 45fps for it to seem smooth that is why i prefer to turn graphics down a bit rather then feeling that stutter. in the end there is not much difference between high and ultra in most of the games -

Iris Pro is so much weaker than the other supported cards on that list.
And talk about next-gen system requirements. This is the first game I've seen which requires a 64-bit OS and a quad-core CPU at a minimum. -

It seems Ubisoft has revised the PC requirements:

I think Ubisoft is orchestrating the greatest troll since the idea that Half Life 3 is actually coming out.

Did anyone else notice most of the next gen games are more demanding on the CPU then they are on GPU?
GPU requirements are still pretty much the same but dual cores are gone and even quads are minimum at 2.5 ghz or something -

In the end, the truth is that if the Intel Iris Pro HD 5200 can really run Watch_Dogs, there's nothing for anyone to fear, not even those with modest mid-range GPUs

Well most of the new games coming from Ubisoft require 64bit OS and they don't support 32bit anymore.. so i guess new games can use more then 4GB RAM

Not really a given. 32-bit executables may be limited to 3.5GB of RAM, sure, but it's up to them if they USE as such. For example, BF4 is a 64-bit executable, and it maxes out at 2GB to 2.2GB of RAM being used on ultra. I checked. Other people checked too. It's entirely pointless making that a 64-bit executable in such cases. I don't even think my VRAM is being maxed out.
I can't help but feel like these 64-bit executable games are just a gimmick... there is only ONE game where I've seen the 64-bit executable make a huge difference, and that's Crysis Warhead, where it flat out crashes on Win 8 x64 with the 32-bit executable, but the 64-bit one works fine. And that's a rarity.reborn2003 likes this. -
Ubisoft tweeted this morning that they're delaying Watch Dogs now until Sprint '14 - blog.ubi.com/watch-dogs-delay
Personally, I'm glad they made the decision to get it absolutely right. -

If the graphics follow the requirements ok else it's gonna be another cod ghosts..

hate to stir up the console vs pc debate -- but why would you play watch dogs on PC when you could play it on the ps3?

will this game work on my 760M if the minimum is 460gtx???in dark souls 2 recommended is 465gtx and here seems 460gtx to be minimum?

This past year was only my second time watching the E3 convention and the only games that caught my attention were "Watch Dogs" and "The Division". I understand there's been a good amount of controversy over the both of them, but I'm still excited for both. Nice to see these requirements, as well.
Plus, by the middle of this year, I'll finally have enough money to replace my HD 6770 with something a lot nicer. I'm just glad I got an FX-8320 relatively cheap over Christmas. My gaming future looks bright! -

hey but thief was listed 660gtx for recommended settings and i played it smooth on my 760M OC with everything max except vsync and SSAA i put low..i guess it depends on optimization..Its weird that 460 is minimum and 660 max?not a big gap between minimum and max..they actually only put 1GB vram as recommended..gts 250 has also 1gb vram(some models) and can be enough for minimum.

Next gen titles are gonna use the HD7870/660 as a recommanded config (same level of the PS4) for 1080p high settings

660 Ti is similar to 7950, the 7850 equivalent would be 650 Ti Boost.
