Decided to replay Mafia: The City Of Lost Heaven. Oh the memories, it's as hard as I remember it was. And that story, that music!
Nice to see that Detroit Sidestep manoeuvrer still works in the first mission!

Looking and Mafia III makes me feel a bit...well, a little bit disappointed, I guess...
    What happened to you, Mafia?

    Damn you, Dog Eyes!

    GTA happened?
It actually kinda true. At least when I look at Mafia III I get reskinned GTA V vibes.

Kinda interesting how things have changed. Back when Mafia and GTA III were new, GTA was considered goofy, and Mafia serious. Now it's GTA games which are serious, and Saints Row are goofy. Mafia II was somewhere in between.

Yep, after watching recent gameplay videos looks to me, like there's more GTA, than Mafia, in Mafia III:

But I'm going wait for reviews, with making final verdict (buy, or skip).

It still looks nice and fun, and it will probably be a good game, but it's nothing like old Mafia.

I think DOOM is the most optimized game. Runs so fast and cool HW and visually perfectly done with the fast paced FPS Adrenalin feel, All that with OpenGL/Vulkan. Micro$shaft needs some devil smashing with this ID Tech 666 Engine. Makes me drool for the Dishonored 2 based off the same engine.....waiting !!

It's been a long time since I had this superb FPS experience. GG WP DOOM !!

Mankind divided on the other hand  Doesn't even have this polished look and runs awful...

Glory kills were awesome, although got a little bit repetitive towards the end. Wish there was a little bit more variation in them.

    Aaaaaaaand...reached racing mission... Nope!
Looks like I'm going back to SWAT4 co-op.

Playing Overwatch. Actually very fun. This is how Battlefield games should be. You need to work as a team in order to win. I like being the mech chic. Defense, decently powerful weapon. Destroy mech, still get to run around on foot and call in a new mech.

yeap im having fun with overwatch, not sure how easy it would be to implement a team like moba type game with 64 man battlefields......could be challenging.

i don't even put overwatch in the same category as battlefield......

I wanted to see it for myself and after putting a few hours - I agree. Not that I've seen bugs or something, but graphically - nothing to be excited about. I do like how what was art/concept book that came with the original game, now is a virtual museum. The achievements are also nice addition.

You guys are making me to check DOOM. Oh wait, still waiting for GPU upgrade

Keep it on the outside of the corners and... I'll try to explain, but most likely fail - pump the keys. Some throttle, release, some steering, release and repeat these until you get the corner. You can do it! I have faith in you :D

I'm back to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided now that they've fixed the crashes that prevented me from advancing the story. In the interim, I was playing Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, which is the most interesting game I've experienced in a long time. For those who don't know, it's an anime-style visual novel with elements of Phoenix Wright and Battle Royale that was originally released in Japan on the PSP and ported to the Vita for North America. It and its sequel, which has similar gameplay, came out on Steam earlier this year. There's an action-oriented spinoff for the Vita, and a third game in the same vein as the first two (though apparently not a direct sequel) is slated for release in Japan early next year.

An anime adaptation of the first game is available, but it's nowhere near as good as its source material. Further, the anime's rights holder, NBC-Universal Japan, has been filing false copyright strikes against Let's Players on YouTube because one scene in the game is essentially the same as that in the anime. The original developers have been going to bat for any person affected by a content ID claim and making sure their videos are restored. For that reason alone, the game is worth buying, even if it's not your particular brand of java.

Tried to get into the witcher 3 but the scale sort of puts me off, there are so many side quests that sort of diverged my attention for the main quest. Plus the combat feels quite weird on mouse and keyboard.
Awesome graphics and everything else though

Cities skylines is probably the best city stimulation game I have ever played, wish I actually have more time to fully explore the game.

No man's sky turns out is what I wanted but not enough, the art style is pretty unique and exploring new planets just feel awesome, but I hate how the mining limits you from exploring the planet peaceful minded.

Duelyst is awesome as expected but the game should have some AI mode so I can try out my deck before playing rank.

Mirror's edge is really good, I loved the first one and the second one is pretty decent, just gotta sink more hours in. The first few challenge is actually not that easy.

Almost all my gaming hours are spent on overwatch and Starcraft 2 and heroes of the storm though, those three games are just too addictive.

Something similar happened to me as well. Well, White Orchard wasn't that bad, it was a starting location, and it wasn't very big, but once I moved on to Velen... My oh my, I didn't know where to start. It seemed everywhere I went I found new quests or POIs. After some time so many of them piled up, that I almost all hope. Luckily I continued playing and one by one, and some 350+h later game+expansions was finished. What a game!

Oh, you are in for a ride! HoS and B&W are expansions done right!

Also thinking about maybe grabbing Mafia III.
Then again, I do need to save up ~200EUR for Prepar3D+addons. Might be hard if will go spending around money on other things as well.

    You mean Quantum Break, right?

Also preloaded Mafia 3, it better be damn good, first preorder I've ever done. Sadly I'm a little bit under the minimum requirements though.
