Not been able to stop playing Walking Dead Saints & Sinners on the Oculus Quest 2, unbelievably immersive experience that feels like a proper game unlike a lot of VR titles. Love sneaking around trying to be quiet and especially like how quickly things can start to go downhill. Even after completing it (you can take as long as you want as it's very well balanced) there's the looting/exploration/crafting loop to play which is pretty much the main part of the game anyway.
It's crossplay too so you can hook it up, I like playing without cables though.

DCS World, MSFS 2020, and Sniper Elite 4 (because shooting nazis in the balls is surprisingly fun).

Reading that post saw like looking at the mirror lol.
Also pay the same right now with an addition of Immortals Fenyx Rising to the list. -

Firing up Jeff in DCS World, taking some Mk 82s with me, and dropping them in CCIP mode on some targets while listening to Jennifer Rush The Power Of Love. There is something really soothing about it...
Can it get better than that?
I really wish ED would add some Hiluxes so I could drop some virtual bombs on virtual ISIS. -
Yakuza 5 is really good and with 5 different playable characters and 5 maps with each characters story and then converging on the overall story at the end it's gonna be a long one, even for me who skips the vast majority of the dozens of minigames, taxi racing one big exception though lol. Y6 remaster on the 25th. Definitely going to replay 0-2 in the future.
Also got back into Dishonored 2 on the new system, having a hard time getting the game to fit the dsr 2k into my screen space though, lock to 60 because it is not the most optimized game with drops from 1080p 120fps to 80s sometimes.JRE84 likes this. -
I just started playing Dead Space 3 this evening. It's hands down the best of the series. I don't know why this game was the least popular in the series, because it's the best!
The opening sequence makes me feel like I'm playing Call of Duty, but I'm fighting against very quick, highly aggressive zombies.
Necromorphs make funny noises.JRE84 and hertzian56 like this. -
It's too action movie-esque and from what I remember the plot is not consistent with the first two, were the main reasons. There isn't as much psychological tension type of horror it's more co-op focused. I enjoyed it as well but I definitely like 2 better since it's kind of half way. I'd say 2 is best and 1=3.Last edited: Mar 22, 2021

Still messing around in Warzone, almost daily for a few runs but I'm starting to almost lose interest.
I'm not 100% sure but I have a good assumption that it's because of the way they implemented skill based match making. I don't think it's designed in a very smart way. I genuinely feel I'm playing better, making better decision, aiming better, yet I struggle more and more and keep running only into sweaty players. There's no fun anymore if I only run into better players...JRE84 likes this. -
Done with yakuza 5 story but still need to do most of kiryu's taxi missions, another great entry in the series, looks to be about 60hrs when I'm done or more if I do the shinada baseball related side stories and go back and do the haruka idol side/substories which aren't available in the after story free roam adventure mode. Saejima's story arc/missions are really the star in this yakuza to me. In the how long to beat site it I think it's over 125hrs completionist level.
Started Yakuza 6 and it's a treat to the eyes compared to the remasters, it got the kiwami 2 treatment and I can't get a locked 60 at 2k custom ultra dsr on this one so revert to 1k custom ultra 60 locked but gets over 80 with drops. Kamurocho looks absolutely amazing at night with the neon etc everywhere. This is rated as a much shorter game, as 5 had just a ton of content as did 4.JRE84 likes this. -

Was just going to give metal gear rising revengence another go, didn't finish it the first time. Finished main story of Yakuza 6, another great one. A bit of INFRA too.

Don't laugh but I've been having a blast with Neon Abyss lately. I'm a bit burned out with Warzone and just can't seem to get into AC Valhalla, so until something else comes along, this little rogue like is a lot of fun. It actually made me reinstall The Binding of Isaac too. I keep swapping between them.

As funny as it sounds.. I'm not playing any games atm on my gaming desktop.. well except the technical alpha of D2 resurrected... I wanted to play MHR after playing MHW for a long time so.. I ended up buying an expensive game $369 + $75 lol
And heres my PC doing nothing except mining
I guess its the gameplay and multiplayer aspect that got me to get a console just for this game lol, going from maxed out graphics with high res textures on MHW to a switch that plays at like 720/1080/540p on MHR.. but I guess in the end gaming is gaming, as long as you're having fun!

I’m having Steam connection error since yesterday
I don’t know if something is wrong with my laptop or network but no issue with other clients (EGS, Ubisoft, Origin). -

No longer shooting digital nazis in the junk, now shooting big robot animals with a bow and arrow...Horizon: Zero Dawn (which looks really good on PC).

Just beat Loop Hero with the Necromancer, aka I finished Easy Mode.

Gave Yakuza 3 another try and I guess it was just a missed control option that held me up in the chases so all good. Pretty good story as usual and fun but has the oldest graphics of them all now, still a great entry with some excellent side stories. I still think the best story arc is 0-yk2, but once you play those you'll definitely be playing the others.
MGrevengence always leaves me nonplused with the QTE's all over, not my bag. And it's really run and gun all the time like a DMC title which are not my favorites either. Still it's fun but not my favorite, no option for more than 1080 either. -
I play (very casually) Modern Warfare 2019, with the occasional jump into Warzone if my brother wants to pair up. Otherwise, nothing else.

Poolians its just like yahoo pool...except alot better

Fired up WRC9 again and it's great at 2k dsr and to turn it all down and listen to music to. Right after I fired up dirt rally 2 and for a casual gamer it's not that much better, more emphasis on rallycross which has almost no dirt in it ironically. I don't know about the realism angle, never thought any driving game using a pad/kbm could be that realistic anyways. If I was that serious I'd join a local club and do the real thing. These games that require a lot of concentration are good if you want to distract from reality, terrible allergies for me atm.
Fired up arkham knight again with the new equipment and it looks awesome at 2k dsr. Love the Arkham games. I'm thinking of getting a 4k external monitor for real 2k/4k. -
killkenny1 Too weird to live, too rare to die.
Was a bit craving for a driving arcade, so decided to try out NFS Heat and Forza Horizon 4.
NFS Heat has a pretty good vehicle customization and looks... But overall I found it to be meh. Cops are also incredibly hard to shake off...
FH4 on the other hand, oh boy, what a fun game! It has so much cars and stuff to do! And seasons! And old school VW Golfs! And it looks and runs incredibly on UWQHD, better than NFS Heat in both departments. People are giving it crap for music, but I dunno, I put a DnB station and party like it 1995.
So yeah, FH4 is pretty neat.Last edited: Apr 23, 2021JRE84, saturnotaku, hfm and 1 other person like this. -

Continuing to enjoy Forza Horizon 4. Even bought XBox controller, which made the game more pleasant to play. I actually can see it now - 4K display, sofa and a controller, just relax and chill. Though UWQHD display, office chair and a controller isn't too bad either
Game feels like a Test Drive Unlimited made for millennials with constant spamming of XP, awards, etc., like you have ADHD. Luckily you can turn that off.
But overall very well made and polished game (so far only saw one bug, though it constantly repeats when you get a new barn car added to you garage). Definitely one of the better racing arcades I've played. Also like the game world. Besides the traffic and seasons there are also people (obviously behind barriers) and wild animals. Make things feel a bit more alive.
Also, cars, so many cars. Even in standard edition there are more than enough, though wish that lil' Peel was available in standard version. And I wish I could turn off showing all DLC stuff in car shop and map.
But yeah, plenty to choose from. And while everyone else drives some fancy supercar, me, an intellectual:

I love the game, my favorite racing/car collecting/loot collecting/exploring wait where was I?
I normally play it single player so my only complaint is the one time I tried to play with my nephew, he bought the game and did the huge download and then we had a heck of a time joining each others game. I don't understand why it's so difficult nowadays to make this super easy and work cleanly especially when we're only talking 2 players. We did join a few times and play but it was never easily repeatable and not a great multiplayer experience.hfm likes this. -
I went through Yakuza 0 again, definitely the best one afa story and not too bad graphics as it's from a 2015 ps4 game I think. On to Yakuza 1 or as they call it yakuza kiwami(extreme) 1, new game plus so I can keep my beads of good fortune to not have to fight punks every 15 paces.
I got bored of FH4 tbh, it does run amazing at 4k/55, but I went through the seasons a couple of times and a fair bit of the main world and the lego and island dlc and was done, it's not focused enough to me. -
Finished my playthrough of Skyrim... was toying around with replaying Witcher 3 for a bucket of hours, but now I'm running through RDR2 since I have not played it at all and figure I should play something I haven't played yet. Pretty good so far but I haven't done that much stuff yet past getting the first camp set up outside Valentine.

Been into generation zero lately single player story stuff. I was pleasantly surprised that it's using the apex engine which thehunter COW used so the scenery is great. It's a bit empty and the buildings are all cookie cutter same though. Needs a dirt bike.

Metro Exodus Enhanced .. stopped playing Disco Elysium to try it out, will probably just finish it and get back to Disco..

Cold War Zombies - Outbreak solo. I don't know why but I'm having so much fun with this. It's like constant target practice with zombies. Only thing is the damned game keeps crashing over and over... it's very rare I get to stage 3-4. Tried everything from graphics settings to drivers update, hdd scan... it's just bad. Strangely it's only Cold war that crashes, I have no issues with Warzone.

Resident Evil Village !!!
I think this is the first ever AAA game with the story set in Romania. Because I grew up there, I am thoroughly enjoying all the references, character names, design choices and blunders. I feel I see it with completely different eyes. Otherwise I'm not much of a horror games fan but I couldn't pass this one up. Graphics wise it's amazing. Can't say much more as I just started it. -
Have not been able to stop playing Valheim, have a private server with a few other lads (mostly UK but some USA based) and playing the game at a relatively slow pace. Never been keen of survival/crafting mechanics but it's so unintrusive here with loads to do and playstyles to suit everybody, we have people on our server who don't even bother with bosses etc and just enjoy building all sorts of different bases.

yeah Im an old school gamer and im pretty impressed with like every game I play

Just going through kiwami 2 again and then a break from yakuza games. Doing the clan creator battles and they're actually pretty fun once you get all the best pieces like Goda, Saejima etc

I very much enjoyed the first 6-7 hours of Resident Evil Village but when I got to the 2nd major level, I was like, nope!, no! no way. It went from cool monster action exploring game to full on horror, scary af real fast. The only thing that went through my mind is that I made a mistake, what am I doing with this game.
Take this with a grain of salt, as I said, I'm not generally a huge fan of horror games but this one took scary, tense atmosphere to a whole new meaning for me.
I will power through it, but probably with no audio and all the lights on, lol. I'm not even ashamed to admit this
