Also one of the best co-op experiences i've had in a while! Few new console games offer splitscreen co-op anymore (Fear 3 being one of the exceptions)

Empire Earth 3. I was (still am) a fan of EE 1, and EE 2 was a bit of a let down, but they made EE 3 for a target market of 8 year olds. No RTS game should have the single player part be finishable in several hours.

Just out of interest, what did you dislike about Fear 3? -
outdated graphics
crappy laggy fps even on my laptop
bad patch support
short story
and there is one main thing missing, the main ingredient for what fear is know for, FEAR.
The multilayer was "unique" though, but as of right now there is no one playing it online. Which turns it into a nice and squarish launcher on my steam library. -
the worst for that i paid was race driver grid
when we handle the car at high peed it start to do 360's
very bad gameplay but awesome graphics -
I do agree on the short story though and the outdated graphics.
However, I played the campaign in split-screen which was thoroughly enjoyable and gave it more of a competitive aspect. It's nice to see developers still releasing games with split-screen coop (albeit few and far between).

Brink:
They promised so much but didn't really follow through. The game was released with a lot of glitches and there was a lot of lag first week of release. I don't know how to explain how they got it wrong, but you can just play the game and know. The team work thing didn't really work out because sometimes people aren't doing the objectives and you have to do it yourself. Most of the time only 1 class is useful to the objective unless you can kill the other guys.
Maybe I just got into a bunch of bad servers with bad people? I was always losing and couldn't really enjoy it. I was going into the game with high expectations from the trailers, but they fell flat on the ground. It would be better with more content (an actual story mode!) and maybe no downed state(?). I felt like a guy and his medic friend could camp all day and own my team. -

So you love Brink. You know it... admit it! -

Not all those games are that bad. I mean Jaws: Unleashed for PS2 and Xbox I quite enjoyed when I played it at my friends house xD And it was one of the first console games I've ever played.
