Alright, I know mine will run it but what kinds of settings and how well will it run it?

I really do favor graphics over resolution, so I'm much more than willing to scale it down to 1280x768 or so, that's what I just did with Crysis and I was able to put settings on high and with 4x AA

I play the game quite comfortably with the rig in my specs. We have the same gfx card but your cpu is slightly better so expect to get 25-35fps in game with most of the lower resolutions. everything else is set medium-low. I'll get in game and post my full settings later if that'll help...

Yea that would be great! Our systems are pretty similar and that would give me a pretty good idea.

    here ya go bud!

    Resolution: 1440 x 900
    Detail: Medium
    Texture: Medium
    Shadows: Medium
    Effects: Low
    AA: 1x
    AF: 1x
    VSync: ON
    HBAO: OFF
    Switched to DX9
    Averages 25-35fps during firefights

I think you'll do just fine! I took a risk buying it with my rig and haven't regretted it even for a second. Even at 25-35fps, this game looks amazing to me. It does lag every now and then, but it hasn't effected me at all.

I've attached a couple in-game pics for ya to give you and idea.

Hey, thanks AlyH for the info and especially the pics! + rep for sure =)

Just a quick question, if I turned down the resolution a bit, say to 1280 x 720 or 768, any idea on how high I could crank up the graphics? Like I said, I'm a sucker for a good-looking game

The new patch seems to have increased performance for me a little bit, running on my desktop.

The 10.4 catalyst preview drivers are supposed to fix the long load times for ATI cards, which they did do for me, but they also made my in-game performance worse. I decided to suck it up and downgrade, because I'd rather have better performance once the level does load than take a bit shorter to load it.
