    wow, some of these games bring back good memories. i had forgotten about a lot of these until i read through this thread.

    i cant believe no ones mentioned kings quest. i used to play this all the time.

    I played Tie Fighter when it came out for mega hours.

    Total Annihilation was my favorite RTS and probably still is today. I liked that there were unlimited resources to allow for long battles.

    When I was about 10 I remember playing Carmen Sandiago on the old school computers, along with some hunting game. There was a map split into hexagons and you moved your tribe from one to another, and hunted animals or fought other tribes in mini 2d battles when you spread your hexagons. Anyone have an idea what that was?
