    Download this INF File

then paste it in the Display.Driver folder after extracting the full EXE installer, if you have winRAR installed, just right click on the EXE and select Extract to (folder name)

Did you spam the F8 key and disable Driver Signature Enforcement? If not, that's probably why the installation failed with Windoze X cancer OS.

ESPECIALLY with drivers. I don't like driver upodates when my system is working correctly. I don't need them and often ignore the updates unless I have a problem that needs to be fixed.

Nah, I don't use hotfixes unless I absolutely have to, which is almost never. I just stay with an older driver that works correctly. The constant pursuit of newer drivers is a waste of energy.

Did you look at the INF to see if the hardware ID is missing? Since disabling DSE did not work, that would be my next guess. You can add it if it is missing, but you'll still need to disable DSE to install a modded driver with anything newer than Windows 7.

What are we expecting or hoping for this driver to fix? SLI for Watchdogs 2 or some kind of other problem?

You need to make sure you download the correct desktop driver package ( not mobile). This person's INF mods are a bit messy sometimes. I have had issues with his mods like this issue in the past. You also have to fix the Clevo INF because if the driver finds your hardware ID in multiple INF files it can cause problems. Unless the author messed up code somewhere else that I did not see, try replacing both of the original driver INF files with the attached. Clean out the old stuff with DDU. Boot with DSE disabled.

Let me know if that worked. If it does not, the person that posted it needs to find and fix his error.

That's always a good plan. The @j95 mods are always the best.

According to the nVIDIA Forums, this DOES NOT fix GSYNC flickering issues in BF1 :(

@Mr. Fox Driver installed fine thanks to you

it now has nView Desktop Manager which does nothing when you right click on the desktop and select it

Additionally, now SLI is enabled from the get go, after the driver installs, it prompts you to reboot and SLI is already enabled

SLI is automatically enabled because the code in the desktop drivers is made that way by default. @j95 mods use desktop drivers and his also enable SLI automatically. You also do not have to reboot to enable/disable SLI using the desktop INF. It's really stupid that laptop drivers require that unless you fix it with an INF mod (or registry tweak to fix the already installed driver).

That would be nice. I think everyone would be happy if that happened, but it would require nothing short of a miracle. They're on a 5-year losing streak with no reason to hope they will ever pull out of their nose dive. Their supply of mediocrity and incompetence seems to be unlimited, and their financial resources are the exact opposite.

Since WD2 is advertised as 'SLI-ready' and this driver doesn't have g-sync code for any Pascal SLI model, I guess they are having problems to make it work in SLI...
Only SLI g-sync code that is there is for Maxwell GPUs...

But, it might not bench lower with WD2 if SLI is broken without it though. Did you test with WD2 or something else? You could also try exporting the WD2 profile from that driver using NVIDIA Inspector and import the WD2 profile to a driver that performs better.

I didn't even try Watch Dogs 2 yet, does it have an in-game benchmark?

So which most recent driver version should we download, if not caring for benchmarks?
