    Benchmark Scores for FX laptops

    Booted up windows XP and got 7892 ...same series of drivers...174.74

    And so far the only two games i play...Wow and Tabula Rasa run smoother under XP than Vista 64bit.

    Glad I got the 2nd HD so I can have dual boot.

    I don't get it, everybody says "OC w/ ntune" .. Apparently people aren't running Vista 64bit and doing so. Cause it'll run fine, once.. Then BSOD EVERY time there after.

    yeah, i got the bsod as well with ntune, but try not running the desktop icon.... right click on desktop and run it from there. mine would work fine if i did that.

    Driver-wise...the 167.58 are the only drivers i can get to work with my 8800m gts (with modded inf). Every other newer driver i try to install (i.e. 174.74, 174.93) it won't install. It just says "The system has not been modified...any suggestions?

    you need to extract the correct inf file out of the original_inf.zip file. which is located in the new driver versions. 174.93 has this file as well.

    Ahh i see. The original_inf rar in the folder has many inf's in it though. Which one do I use? Thanks

    guru3d.com has drivers you can use without needing to do anything specail, just download, and install.
