I love my 7811 with the 1920 screen and just bought a refurb with 1920 res for $233 in case mine assumes room temp. Wish me luck. Got it on Tech for Less but don't know who refurbished it.

Good price, even if it just becomes a pparts machine. That is assuming all works properly from the get go............

I will report back when it comes but I am leaving for 2 weeks so the report will be delayed.

It arrived before departure and looks good to start.

Hey, we can't insert images in the text body? That's no fun.

Too much light for a good pic but screen is beautiful. Black is ultra black but white has an odd darkness to the bottom portion. But hey, it's a refurb. I need to get this in a dark room to really see what is going on.

The body/frame has more wear than mine and I use mine every single day. What do people do with these things?

The hard drive is showing 598 so what is that, a 640? I think so. 5400 RPM

The battery was door-nail dead so don't know if that will revive. Yep, seems fine.

I have a new Samsung SSD (love those deals) that didn't have a home and is just waiting for the clone of my existing 7811.

So far this looks to be a big win. Thanks TechForLess.
