    I got a replacement battery from Laptop batteries, Notebook batteries, power ac adapters chargers for Dell, HP, Compaq and more, I have heard good things from these people from friends.

    Anyway, What is the average length of a charge for this laptop?
    The batt specs are
    * Rating / Voltage: 11.1 VDC

    * Capacity: 6 Cell, 4400 mAh ( 4.4Ahr) 49 whr
    Right now on the 2nd charge set, with about 82% charge, its showing about 1 hour and 15 min.

    They say to charge/discharge 2-4 times but just wanting an idea of what to expect.

    I can't answer your battery question but if you want more battery power you can undervolt your CPU with RMClock. If not using RMClock I recommend using Power Saver mode in Vista when on battery because of the way it controls the CPU clocks; Balanced just constantly jumps to higher clocks even on idle.

    I am using windows 7, but I have the same power save options as vista. I have only drained the battery once so far, I will look into rmclock as well. Just seems like 1.5 hours is kinda short.
