Text appears small for sure. But since having this what irks me more now is lower screen resolution. Scrolling is a lot less both ways (vertical/horizontal).
Which means almost everything's there in front of you in that 17'' screen. Believe me i never game a lot on this laptop so i don't in anyway prefer lower resolution. LG screen makes it perfect. To me my 7805 is like i bought it yest (almost a year old in a weeks time). Its named BeautyNTheBeast. LOL. I guess ur still young. If thats the case no it wont(text size). Might take a little time getting used to but you wouldn't want to go back to a lower resolution. Thats what i think. Maybe not since its a personal choice.

Got your point Maverick, I'm just worried about the navigation, because I think the 1080p resolution for gaming with that GPU is kinda useless, the notebook can't handle it at all.
In my opinion that resolution would help me a lot in terms of navigation and such, because that's my main concern. 1440x900 won't bother me, but I've never seen a 17" with full hd screen, so that's why I wondered (worried that actually the text would be so small in 1920x1200 that I would not use it after all, think that I will have to try it for myself)...
Full HD movies are only possible in a 1920x1080?
Thanks and happy new year! -
HD Movie resolution will not cover the entire screen of a 1920x1200. Top and bottom 60 pixels(horizontally) wont be covered since its a 1200p screen instead of a 1080p.

Oh, understood it!
Thanks a lot Maverick! -

8GB upgrade for $260! Not bad in my opinion! -
That is 2x2GB
-
Remember that to upgrade to 8 GB you got to buy 2x4GB modules (not 4GB since both the slots are already occupied) which will double the price(many would miss that part) and then get rid of the current 2x2GB for a lower price.
-
Ah, I saw it as one 4GB module. Hm.
P-7805u MAX ram 8gb or 4gb
