I'm trying to simultaneously listen to mp3 songs via Windows Media player and browse the internet. While running WMP, everytime I load up a new page the CPU and OS load jump drastically and the sound becomes staticky/laggy/skip/stutter until the page is done loading.

Try Winamp, it's loads better than WMP and it's free (and you can listen to Shoutcast radio and it's skinable!)

You should be able to jump back and forth no problem.

If you're seeing CPU and OS load I'm guessing that you're looking at the RMClock graphs. What profile are you set to? Did you underclock at all (Or are you using all of the multipliers)? What other software do you have running at all times in the background (Antivirus, what loads on startup?)? Have you tried doing this with RMClock not running?

lol well now I have two new music players, but the problem still remains :p.

    Yes I'm using RM Clock.

1)I'm set to Performance on Demand
2)I've underclocked all the multipliers to the lowest possible voltage of 0.9250V
3)Applications running are Commodo Firewall, RMCLock, basic laptop programs (touchpad, webcam).
4)I haven't tried with RMClock not running, but will do so now.

check your CPU and RAM usage on task manager at idle and while your surfing and listening to music and compare the differences. Could be faulty ram?
