Ok ive had my Mx7118 since Feb 06, its been awesome. But I feel its 512mb is lacking (especially while trying to play Red Orchestra) So I want to upgrade the ram to 1.5 but have no clue how to do it. Any tips? Thanks!!!

(sorry for being such a laptop noob  )

    Hi.
Both of the ram slots are accessible on your laptop, however one slot involves getting under the keyboard, something that I myself wouldn't bother doing. The other one can be easily accessed on the bottom of the notebook.
I believe it is the smaller door, but because I've never opened them, I'm not 100% sure ;)
I don't know why, but when I saw the name of your computer, I instantly thought that it came with 1x512 rather than 2x256. Can you confirm this? Unless you are sure, I would check before ordering ram. If it does happen to be 1 512 stick and you don't intend on switching the original stick, I would recommend getting the same speed ;)
As far as installation, the only useful tip that I can give you is to ground yourself :)
As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
