    Shipping time frame kinda for P-171x fx

    Hi bro,
    thx for respond ! Well, i called the tech support yesterday. They have sent me a replacement. We'll see if this one will be any better. I was told by my tech rep that it could be due to an error in calibration/positioning.

    And the other thing i wanted to ask you all guys, when you received your lappy was it in plastic cover, like you know pretty much anything brand new these days. I am not talking about the plastic bag in which laptop was itslef, but rather tape-like cover applied on the laptop's body itself. Or you just had some tissue-like black cover, which divided your LCD screen from the keyboard !???? I am really concern about that ... cz that's all i had !!! I want to be sure that i didnt get some lame re-produced system.

    after the test is done the program should give you an option to report your results on-line. Once you'll click on it you should be re-directed to
    a results-reporting site where you can see your machine and it's results.

    Yes, I finally recieved my P-171x fx today at 6:00pm, could it have took any longer :) I am doing a fresh install with raid 0 7200rmp. I can't wait to see how this puppy runs.

    I still don't have mine... maybe I just had bad luck in being the ones on the second backup shipment... :( I hope I really don't have to wait a whole month to try to get this! At this rate, I might as well pre-order their next FX model! LOL

    when you post state what res processor and if you oc. right now snowsurfur is in the lead... but the lowest res you can benchmark is 1280 800 no lower you can go higher but no lower...

    Is there anyone else waiting for their P-171X FX laptop to ship April 24th? (estimated shipping date)

    I'm not too sure why it would take them more than 4 and a half weeks to get another shipment built, shipped and going... I'm giving serious thought to just canceling the order and either going with the S-FX or the Best Buy edition... *sigh*

    I recieved mine on Monday, I ordered it on Feb 12th. It is worth the wait. I have both the P-171X FX and the Best Buy one now, they are both nice but I bet the extra power from the cpu in the P-171X FX will be nice, hang in there buddy ;)

    Damn I want one of these sooo bad. Trying to save up the funds for one before I get deployed mid summer. Don't wanna end up waiting too long and order it only to not have it arrive by the time I leave for the desert. Wish that tax rebate deposit would come sooner...
