Very nice score =)
Do you overclock when you play games? -

Thanks... but I do but not run games that high... I run clocks of about (600/900/1500) which is just enough for games and not to worry about the strain on my components.... cause after seeing these forums lately.... lots of 6860FX's have been dying
Also... anyone thought of including 3dMarkVantage in here? Im gonna start testing in that soon.... -
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
I run gpu stock when gaming. What is your stock clocks.
-
Great score terror, just a meager TWO points behind the number two spot, hahah. I might start including pcmark vantage benchmarks, though I'm really unfamiliar with it.
-
Rep added for people who posted benchmarks, thanks!
-
... also there is a 3DMark Vantage as well as a PCMark... I would be more inclined to do just the 3DMark if I were you haha
-
damn...got bumped off the top 3. I'll be benchmarking tonight to fight my way back up there!!
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
keep at it. it's not easy staying on top.
-
I was just taking a break from benching...but im ready now so bring it on haha
-
Here's my second test with some tweaks. I am going to swap out thermal grease to ICD7 and undervolt and other things, later on. But glad to see I'm movin' on up.

Resolution is not right tough, for default scores you should change it to 1280x1024, imo.

I've hit a snag.....I used to be able to score as high as 11929 on 3DMark06 on Vista 64bit but after a fresh install of Win7 and updating to latest official nvidia drivers (186.61 IIRC), I can only score as high as 3828!!! I've been experimenting with 710/950/1800 (core/shader/mem) at present. 11929 was achieved with 710/929/1790.
Powermizer is disabled and power plan is set to maximum. Please advise. -

try dox 182.46. Best driver for me.
-
windows exp. index score is 6.6
-
I still need to find time to benchmark.
-
Didn't take a picture, but with a completely stock 7805u on 3dmark06 native res I got a 9,226.
-
If your score reflects using OC and UV then you may want to revert back to normal(out of box)modes to see what your Baseline is and it will give you a good indication as to what each mod does for you. If it doesn't get you the results you wanted, try another mod, driver or setting instead. 'Course you probably already know this, but others that view may not. -

if the undervolt is unstable, you will lose cpu points it. I recommend only undervoling the 6x multiplier...
-
The Undervolt seems stable. Ill try increasing voltage to stock and see what difference it makes. The drivers are all the most current ones. And the GPU is overclocked.
EDIT: i was running 3DMARK06 in the native res.. got to stop it down some.. then ill see how it does. -
Well, After setting the resolution to the right setting and removing the undervolting...
The CPU did rise in temp a few degrees C. -
I ran 3dmark, but it wouldn't let me review the results. Said I had to see them online.

what's the difference without and with undervolting??? -
About 600 Points, Im still playing with it. I just got home from work so Im going to go back at it. But Id rather have less heat that 600 Points.
I really want to get 10k Stock but i doubt its going to happen. But i'm close. -
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate

also all you need to do is when you run benchmarks like 06 you bring your volts back to normal... -

with a stock 7805 10k points is possible, but youll have to work for it, gotta experiment and tweak things just right. where are those benchmarks, lhykan?! I wanna see someone knock Kamin off of his throne.
-
It wanted me to view them online, but wouldn't show them... so I uninstalled it. -
so whats the best driver for this computer? -
